We along with our traveling friends (two motorhomes) waited for 9 months an a waiting list to get in during Cool Deadwood nights. Two weeks before the event, they called and offered us two spots for four days at $372 each. We jumped at it. Sadly the following week our engine had major problems and we were unable to continue to Deadwood. We called the office and they said it was too late to get a refund and therefore we would have to forfeit the total amount. Not only that but they re-rented our two spots to other clients and gave the preferential renewal opportunity to them. We understand the demand for sites during special events and that a refund so close to the event is not reasonable. However to double book sites when your clients are experiencing difficulty just to make double the rental rate is just bad business.

I want to say it was a horrible place just to keep the secret of this place to ourselves but the truth of the matter is that it was amazing, wonderful, beautiful, fun, spacious & clean. This resort was more than we ever expected. It's a little pricy, but worth it for what you get. The amenities were endless, a pool, level sites w/ cement pads, coffee bar, a bar, cute shop, outdoor game area, free wi-fi & tv cable w/ plenty of channels, clean bathrooms & plenty of trash bins that are also clean. There is plenty of grass & group fire pits throughout. All the resort road are paved & wide, making it easy to park. The staff is so friendly & helpful. We never needed for much at this resort. Additionally it was a great location for sight seeing. We were within minutes of Deadwood & Sturgis & slightly longer to Spearfish Canyon. Beautiful Mt. Rushmore was slightly over an hour & the ride itself was a treat. Without a doubt, we'll be back.

A great family oriented, pet friendly resort. Large pool, kiddie pool and 2 hot tubs. Nightly activities. Gift shop. Several lodging options including different sized cabins, RV spots, tenting spots. Very clean shower houses. Play areas for toddlers and children. Completely paved. Dog park. Tennis and basketball courts. Golf course. Walking and biking trail.

Elkridge RV park. Is well done! Nice paved surfaces . Grass everywhere. Clean facilities. Easy access to bathrooms and trash bins. Full of Class A RV when we were there. Nice people. Very close to Deadwood like 20 min easy drive.

We stayed 14 days at Elkhorn Ridge with our toy hauler and Harley. The park was very quiet at night and even had a peaceful feel during the day. The grounds were well manicured and the pool looked beautiful, though we didn't swim. Our only complaint was that the WIFI was terrible even with us being very close to the building. We paid $15./wk to upgrade to premium WIFI. Even then the WIFI was so bad we called the company and received a refund. Even with the disappointing WIFI we wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we were in the area.

Wow! This RV park is fancy and others should take a cue from this place! The grounds were outstanding, so clean, and kept perfect! April at the service desk is wonderful! The park is mostly loaded with very fancy, huge RV’s. Our site was pretty private considering there aren’t really trees here. The park was busy with motorcycles gearing up for the annual rally. We don’t do that but felt fine staying there. Everyone keeps their site so decked out it’s fun to see! We loved the dog park and having a nice pool area to go to. Not many kids which kept it quiet. My only issue was the laundry..$3 for each load & $3 more to dry. Additionally another guest took it upon herself to remove my clothes from the dryer and put them onto of another machine. I set a timer on my phone and was there right on time. Found that a tad rude but other than that nothing but good things to say. Would recommended a stay here for sure!! Beware if you drive if Needle Highway! Crazy scary but thrilling!!!

100% would recommend! We came with a large family and they worked amazing to make sure we were all together and had all we needed. Pool and park were great for the kids, and the pool bar and the coffee shop were awesome for the adults! everything you need all in 1 place.

I have no complaints, everyone here is great! The RV park is nice, no doubt. They have a great doggy park (many parks say they do but it’s only meant for itty bitty dogs, not 80 pounders.). Okay, so I have one complaint and this is based on rules that I’ve read at other RV parks. They REALLY, REALLY need to remind people “DO NOT walk through other RV sites. This is nonstop to the those who stay on the back row, specifically 101, 102, 103, 104, 105. The laundry and bath is behind these rows and everyone, I mean everyone walks through. We’ve even had people walk through our happy hour gathering to go to the laundry/wash building. This is so uncool! The front desk needs to remind everyone who checks in this is unacceptable.
