This 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage is located at the bottom of a 6 acre parcel in the middle of the forest. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the second room has a Queen bed and there is a trundle bed in the living room. The ceilings are open beam cedar, the floors are bamboo and stone and the cottage has many custom details. The bathroom has a large custom walk in shower. Outside there is a covered lanai with a nice table and seating as well as an outdoor soaking tub surrounded by flower gardens and forest. Great location away from commotion of city.
Our family loved the house. We enjoyed the cool nights listening to nature as we fell asleep. Kids loved the outdoor soaking tub and "playing" with owner's chickens. Location was perfect with just a short drive to get into town but far enough away to feel like the middle of nowhere. Kathryn and Bill were great hosts and even brought us fresh fruit during our stay.

Best Stay in Kona
So many exceptional details…Cool elevation, quiet surroundings, comfortable and accessible house, and the complete kitchen. A photographer’s dream landscape! We recommend a visit to the nearby Cloud Forest Sanctuary for a 90-minute educational hike. Wonderful opportunities abound. We love the louse, the location, and the feel-at-home environment.
