Hotels near Museum Bahari Jakarta, North Jakarta

Room is ok, super spacious, breakfast is ok, we stayed during eid fitr, so many indonesian food at that time, there are pool, gym, and other facilities. Will be back for family or friends staycation.

2 times at here, and there is always great, the hotel was really good. the hotel clean, fast check in and the room was comfortable, and breakfast have many variety in wetern, indonesian and chinese (the dimsum is very delicious) friendly and honest staff, central located, minor things are the bulding is old. Anyway its nice experience in the hotel, good job Mercure Kota !

The room itself was spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities I could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city.

A good hotel pays attention to details such as providing complimentary toiletries, offering a variety of pillow options, ensuring prompt housekeeping services, and maintaining well-groomed surroundings. When you enter the building, the hotel itself is actually located on the third floor. So you need to find the the elevator and go up. Previously I already requested to do early check in at 01.00 PM via booking.com and fortunately the room was ready and I was able to put all my stuff and hopefully enjoy my two nights stay there. I was given a vitamin C and a mask when I checked in, and when I turned on the TV in the room, it showed how the hotel tried to maintain the cleanliness during Covid 19 by doing disinfection, etc. I chose Whizz Prime Kelapa Gading because it is located across MOI and it has a swimming pool. I want to spend my staycation by swimming in the hotel, at least that's what I thought. When I was swimming, the pool staff approached me and told me that since I was not wearing a proper swimsuit, I was actually not allowed to swim there, for your information, I was wearing a hijab and it was impossible for me to wear a swimsuit, the staff even suggested me to take off my hijab which of course I said no. The next thing I know that the security approached me and telling me quite the same thing, because I was not wearing a proper swimsuit, I was not allowed to swim there. I noticed that the other guests who were also at the pool were staring at me and I felt humiliated. That's it. I got out of the swimming pool and heading to the receptionist and complained. I was assisted by mbak Sarah and she told me there should be no problem if I want to swim and she will talk to the swimming pool staff. When she returned, she told me to sit by the pool and she would talk to the GM. I was already angered by the situation and I chose to go back to the my room and write a complaint in the contact us section of the hotel website. And I decided to go back to the swimming pool and took a picture of the swimming pool. That's when Sarah approached me again, and apologized and make sure that I can swim in the swimming pool with the approval of the GM. I still don't get it, why did the pool staff and the security treated me like that, even need approval from GM, for a lady who wore hijab, to be able to swim at the hotel, while I was the guest and I paid for the room including the facilities? At the end, the manager talked to me and I apologized, ok, I accept the apology but I am already disappointed and cried. I felt horrible. I decided to check out early and ask for a refund. I am now waiting for a refund.

I’ve been here almost half of years visiting Jakarta for business purposes. Amongst the rest hotel in Kelapa Gading area, 101 Urban Kelapa Gading is the best place to stay in ! Beside, the restaurant in the lobby hotel service was greats! Thanks to the waiter Pak Agus and Waitress Buk Tika for the service given throughout time I'm having meals. Not forget the food really superb tasty ! Thank you 101 😊👍

Good feelings about the hotel, Room was spacious and good. A mini mart would be convenient for Hotel guests altho the nearby Lotte Mart is a 7 minute walk, the gate to it is closed at 9pm. It was a rush for us late commer, looking for cheap eats and affordable beers. Breakfast spread was good. I like the pickled fruits. It was crowded even at 8am, hard to find a table. I would return again.

Love the ambience of hotel, with japanese theme. Super neat ,tidy and clean.All Staff are all professional and friendly. Chusa also have lovely happy smile when greeting customer. There is shuttle station as well free for guest and bicycle in front of hotel.Indomaret are big plus in the complex. The quietness are superb as well, far from noise. Also gym and swimming pool are available to use. Yummy and healthy yet simple japanese style brekkie is the best bonus here. Overall everything is great. Will recommend to friends and family for airport stay or exploring pik2.

I was here for transit. The hotel near the airport (20 mins). The staff was helpful and my room was clean. Unfortunately, this hotel didn’t provide suttle.
