The Crown at Marnhull

Probably the worst pub food I’ve experienced, poor quality food for the price. We will not be returning there are plenty of good eating houses in the area

A return for a club supper. We hold a monthly club supper which we rotate around several local pubs and inns. The Crown is always a favourite. It cozy, historic, genuinely, has a wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff and good food and drink. It’s alway popular with the members. They were not disappointed. Great evening. We noticed more “Asian” dishes on the menu which was a nice change.

Work Stay This was my second stay at The Crown at Harnhill, and once again, it did not disappoint! From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that everything was perfect throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, well-kept, and had all the little touches that make a stay extra special. A good night’s sleep was guaranteed with the cozy bed and peaceful surroundings. The food was another highlight! I started with the scampi and pork crackling, and let’s be honest—who can say no to pork crackling? Both were absolutely delicious, perfectly crispy, and packed with flavor. My main was just as impressive, and breakfast the next morning was amazing. I had the Eggs Benedict, which was cooked to perfection, and the ham was to die for—so full of flavor and beautifully prepared. It’s clear that The Crown at Marnhill prides itself on excellent service and high-quality hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning again in the future. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely, welcoming pub. Really good food and bedroom warm and comfortable after a cold day of racing at Wincanton ! Staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good with great choice. Will be back!

Birthday visit Would be nice to have a non-Hall and Woodhouse guest beer and a real cider. Otherwise excellent place to stay and eat. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely stay as always We had another lovely stay at the Crown. Have been here a number of times and is definitely our favourite pub and place to stay. Rooms are comfortable, clean and warm and warm, food is excellent and the beer and pub environment also excellent. All of the staff are really pleasant, attentive and nothing is too much trouble, Recommend the Crown to anybody
