Green Acre Motel

Stayed 1 night , made welcome, nice room, comfortable beds. Plenty of parking on site and a dam good breakfast in the morning. Reasonably priced drinks and food. Would defiantly recommend and will stay again,

Wow. I suggest who ever you have on phone and book should be placed elsewhere. I just rung and asked to book a table for 2 this Sunday - i was about to follow it up by saying 'if you have any space as I appreciate it's Easter sunday' - but I was rudely cut up by being told they are fully booked incase I didn't know it was Easter Sunday. I work as a waitress, so I 100% can relate with staff, but her tone was so rude that's it's completely put me off ever wanting to go there. I've heard from customers who come to the restaurant I work in that the same manner of tone is happening to them if they ring up the greenacres also. Not good for the business if it's getting around word of mouth. She didn't even ask how many of us and what time. It was only for 2 of us and an hour would've been long enough. Maybe next time get a friendly approach when speaking on the phone to potential customers!

An excellent short trip. All the staff are welcoming and friendly throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Great selection of quality food at breakfast and dinner. Good prices at the bar and numerous game facilities. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. All round, a wonderful stay.

There have been many 5 star reviews of this accommodation and overall I would agree that they are well deserved. On arrival, my wife and I were registered very quickly and taken to our room by a welcoming, friendly member of staff. The room was very spacious and clean and the en suite likewise: clean, bright and modern. We had an evening meal and the staff were very accommodating: my wife, who is a vegetarian, did not really want anything from the set menu but this presented no problem and the staff were happy to provide her with a meal of her choosing; I enjoyed their lamb dish. True, the bar and dining areas are a little dated but this was more than compensated for by the service and the comfortable room. I have no hesitation in recommending Green Acre.

Forgot to write a review until now ...but wanted to as this hotel was great ! Bedrooms might be basic but they are immaculately clean , the staff were lovely, even the young ones are a credit to the place . We tried to book for Sept but unfortunately was fully booked ( no surprise ) a real gem of a place especially for the price with a lovely Breakfast included !

Brilliant staff fantastic meals excellent price & all very clean we were so happy we have booked a .3 night stay in December would recommend this place to everyone & it was buzzing as plenty of people plus locals eating there a credit to the owners
