Hard to believe this hotel has ever been rated higher than a 3 as it is very mediocre at best. It is worn out and tired in every way from the tired rooms with the old style mechanical thermostats to the noisy air conditioners to the undrinkable coffee served in the morning. Do your self a favor and try somewhere else in the area that has many newer options.

I’m currently staying at the hotel, and one of the most pleasant parts of my experience has been interacting with Sabrina. She’s always so kind, cheerful, and genuinely interested in how I’m doing. Every time I see her, she greets me with a big smile and such positive energy — it really makes a difference in my day. She has this natural warmth that makes guests feel seen and appreciated, and I truly look forward to our little chats. It’s people like her who turn a simple hotel stay into something much more personal and memorable. Thank you, Sabrina, for making my stay brighter! 🌼

We originally booked another hotel online. After driving for 14 hours to get here, our first hotel was horrific! We skipped across the street to Hampton Inn North at 845pm looking for a room. The front desk clerk, Meghan was very accommodating and even took the time to show us our potential room due to the nightmare we had just experienced. We booked our stay and even began to laugh at our previous dilemma. Breakfast was absolutely OUTSTANDING!! Food was fresh, hot and delicious! Thank you to Meghan, Sabrina, Stephani and all of the staff!! You went above and beyond the call of duty and made what could have been a disaster into a memory to retell for years to come! Hampton Inn Charleston North will definitely be our go to hotel when we come back down to North Charleston SC

Clean room, beddings are fresh only the pillows that a bit not my liking but it’s good. Breakfast menu is awesome ! And enjoyed the experienced staying in your hotel

Friendly staff and very clean. Also very conveniently located. Room we have is clean and well made. Stefanie checked us in a bit early, which was super helpful as we had a baseball game later in the day that we needed to rest up for. Location, cleanliness, and friendliness.

Room was tidy and comfortable. Ms. Stephanie , the Front Desk receptionist was so professional , pleasant and helpful to those of us unfamiliar with the area. Thank you! Hampton Inns are often our choice of place(s) to stay when traveling. Breakfast included is definitely a plus.

Pet friendly! Clean and VERY well insulated (quiet!) Stephanie at the front desk saved the day by mailing a paper I accidentally left behind. (A set list from the concert the night before!). It was a surprise birthday treat and Stephanie was so kind to retrieve it for us!!! Thank you!!!❤️

Run down. Poor location. Overpriced. Arrived and didn’t even stay even though we had paid. Did not feel comfortable given clientele hanging around outside rooms. Room was very basic. First one reeked of smoke despite sign saying it was non-smoking hotel. Moved to another room but decided to check out instead of spending the night. Would not recommend.

My experience here has been great. The receptionist was very friendly, professional and helpful. On my second day, I met Karen with Hilton Grand Vacations. She provided me with information on things to do in the area, shared information on HGV promotions, and exchanged friendly conversation. Her approach was received well and she has a great demeanor. She is definitely an asset to HGV.
