So... I'm quick to praise and slow to complain, but this last Homewood experience is one that needs to be voiced... First the good - with only a single exception, the entire the staff are VERY friendly and professional, regardless of role - GREAT JOB! Also, the breakfast was quite good! i'm not a breakfast person, so i don't have much to compare it to, but that said, i found it quite tasty! Now the bad - the room was DISGUSTING... pillow smelled like doodoo, broken shower door handle, peeling wallpaper in many places in the bathroom, STICKY kitchen floor, multiple cigarette burns on the table, ripped/torn couch, couch and/or carpet smells heavily of BO, just really, really poor. i'd say that the daily cleaning staff likely do a good job (other than the sticky floor), but this room appeared to be way, WAY overdue for a complete remodel. if THIS is the way pet-friendly hotels typically present, then I am OUT! i won't even mention the EVER present smell of pot out in the parking lot… i will assume it's now legal in SC? AND THE ICING on the cake - you have to PAY FOR PARKING ($12/day) ??? BOO - SHAME ON YOU Hilton... It's not like the building is even CLOSE to a high volume/occupancy area like in downtown NYC, Philly, DC, Baltimore, etc... BOO! Never staying there again, and will likely stay at other lodging options from this point forward, particularly a shame after being a LOYAL Homewood customer for about the last 40 years as a frequent government and vacation traveler

We were in town for a dance competition and so pleased with our stay. Every member of the staff went out of their way to make us feel so welcome. Our rooms were very clean and had everything we might need. It made it comfortable for a full week stay. The pool was great for the kids(and the grownups too).

The entire property was well organized, pristine & conveniently accessible at a major highway exit (streets), airport, stores, shopping & more. I arrived evening of 05/25/25. Victoria checked me in with the most patient, professional, informative & accommodating manner. Graciously providing my room direction request. In the morning the buffet lady was very neat, welcoming & polite. Donte & Ms. Cynthia were the highlight of my morning. Both are equally the best in front desk services. Ms. Cynthia as leadership displayed a caring, respectful, valued manner as she had picked up another shift on behalf of her team. This Homewood Suites at 7399 Northwoods Blvd truly knows & displays exceptional , caring customer services representing the Hilton values & mission statement! R. Palmer

Parking is terrible here on weekends. Good luck finding a spot. Oh and they charge for the Parking as well. $13 or so after fees, overpriced. Office staff is sub par depending on who you come in contact with. The young man that seemed to always be there in the afternoons was always so friendly and welcoming.

This was the first time staying at a Homewood Suite and we will be back! We were greeted by YOLANDA CAMPBELL /front desk. She was amazing in answering every question of the area we had. So many suggestions and we followed them all. This was our first trip to Charleston. Thanks for making our trip a true vacation! Room was excellent, breakfast delicious along with the meet/greet in the lobby on Wednesday. Thanks again Greg and Debbie / Michigan
