North Bay Inn

Firstly, this is a very clean motel inside and out, it couldn’t have been better. We were in a double room, the beds were very comfy as were the pillows. The owners are welcoming and helpful. We will stay again. The only improvement we can think of is air conditioning for the hot days. They have fans if that’s enough for you.

Outstanding stay, clean updated rooms, family owned & the management was beyond helpful, super friendly & highly recommend after the 4 previous motels we stayed in this was the best. We asked for a portable heater & 1 appeared in our room shortly. We ended up staying 10 days but booked out twice thinking appointments were finished, the Manager made sure that portable heater followed us to our new rooms. Super friendly family & the Manager actually talks to his guests instead of being ignored after booking in like most. Highly recommend this motel, it's our go to when in North Bay.

This is a “no frills” motel but it gives you access to beach view across the street and really has everything you need . The exterior was clean and bright and looked freshly painted. Hubby and I came in exhausted ( we are on a cross continent road trip) and we got the suite which is actually a detached building in the back. We had our own porch (maybe 6x10 ) & bbq . We had a big room with a kitchenette, a king bed & fireplace ( the wall controlled type) and a garden tub ( we also had a bathroom with shower, if soaking in the jetted tub isn’t your thing - but it is relaxing) . The staff was great and because we couldn’t figure out the fireplace controller - they even responded to our room within minutes to help us get the fireplace turned on - it wasn’t really cold out but we wanted the ambiance and it was very nice to have ( it was stormy so we got a thunderstorm with our fireplace) . Since we really didn’t want to go out again we used DoorDash to get dinner and their were several options in the vicinity. The other thing we are grateful for is it was a motel - we had lots of luggage from the duration of our trip- & several of the chain hotels in the area , which have multiple floors - have no elevators. My hubby has a bad knee and we had already stayed in a multistory hotel with only stair access and were making the effort to avoid that issue. If you have heavy luggage or bad knees make sure you check on the elevator thing if you don’t stay at a ground floor motel.
