Lots of light throughout this home situated on a large lot. A great place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the park. There are two decks; one over looking the marina and the other with a view of the Tablelands. Close to coffee/lunch shop, boat tours, kayaking and hiking trails. Located in the heart of Gros Morne. One of the original cottage style homes in Norris Point. It will be your home away from home during your visit. A short walk will take you to the Bonne Bay Marine Station and The Cat Stop (boat tour). This reservation has a Super Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 14 day prior to the check in date. A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 14 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 7 to 13 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 7 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request. It was an older traditional Newfoundland house in an outport in the middle of a national park. Magnificent place! Very close to the Gros Morne mountain hike!

The house could use some upgrades as it’s outdated. There’s no dishwasher and guests are expected to hand wash dishes but we weren’t given an actual sponge, just a scrub brush. So not all dishes used prior to our arrival were super clean. Towels need to be replaced as they don’t smell very fresh. You’re required to bag up your own trash and take it outside and we couldn’t find any extra trash bags. On the good side, the beds were comfortable, TV has Netflix, and plenty of space in the fridge. Neighborhood is nice and quiet, great for evening walks and even close to a rocky beach. The host gave a lot of useful information after booking/prior to arrival about the park and neighborhood which was helpful and appreciated. Overall manageable for a short stay (we were there for 3 nights).

Little house at Norris Point The house was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was good- lots of dishes, pots, pans, utensils. Tea and coffee were also provided. There was a washer and dryer, lots of towels, extra blankets. The host was easy to contact. The house was bigger inside than I expected it to be. The location is good for visiting Gros Morne National Park. We enjoyed our stay here.

We loved our stay at this little home in Norris Point. It was well stocked. The supplied tea and coffee was a pleasant surprise! Yvonne was fantastic and very quick to reply to any questions. The only things that would make this house better would be upgrading the beds to queens and putting towel bars in the bathroom. But that is being picky…we would definitely stay here again!
