Studio 6 Extended Stay Oklahoma City Norman OK

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! On August 10, 2026 I booked a room for 9.18.26-9.20.26 at Studio 6 Norman, OK. At approximately 3:30pm l arrived to Studio 6 in Norman, OK to check in. I was checked in and received my room key to room 422. I was in town to visit my daughter for Family Weekend at the University of Oklahoma. After checking in at 3:30pm, l went to the University to spend time with my daughter. At approximately 11:30pm my other child arrived to Studio 6 and when they went into the room there was other people's belongings in the room!!!! I immediately told my other child to get out of the room as this was a potentially very dangerous situation!!! I was on the phone with my child and I was speaking to the female working the desk who was INCREDIBLY rude and she offered ZERO explanation how or why someone was in MY ROOM!!! There was NOTHING done!!! The employee said there was nothing to be done! EXCUSE ME?!!! WE WERE LEFT STRANDED WITH NOWHERE TO STAY!!! This is beyond unacceptable!!!! I have yet to receive a refund, much less any other remedy!!!! I am appalled and downright disgusted with how the situation was handled!

From check in to check out it was a good experience! With the bad weather, which was out of their control, they were very accommodating.

I had to pay a $50 deposit for a room, and was told that I would recieve that refund back the day that I checked out. That's a lie. It's been two days since I checked out, and have not recieved my refund yet. They just want some extra money in their pockets. Until Studio 6 overtook this hotel you did not have to pay a deposit. There are better hotels out there. I do not recommend this hotel for sure!

We had to pack up a newborn baby, dIsabled child and an 83 year old grandpa at 3 am to leave because our room had ROACHES!! and this was after we had to wait until almost 8pm to check in because the rooms weren't ready for the 3pm check in. Room was not clean and smelled and we reeked of cigarette smoke. WILL NOT RETURN!! VERY DISSATISFIED!

Was bitten by bugs within 30 minutes of arriving the room. Told management I wanted a refund. They hesitated at first but after seeing the bites on my wife’s legs, and photos of the bugs on the carpet and bed, they agreed and provided a refund!

We got there at check in time and they said I’m sorry come back in a hour. We have been traveling for hours. There was one towel and no washcloths in our room. I asked multiple times and never received any until the next day. There was hair a whole bunch behind the door of the bathroom that no one cleaned. I was afraid to walk barefoot and just fyi they charge you an extra $100 for a deposit! You will get it back a week or longer after you leave. Terrible experience. And the tv remote wouldn’t even work. And some guests that already checked in I overheard said they went to their room and it was still dirty and they already gave them the card to go to their room. Worst stay at a hotel I’ve ever been too. I’m surprised they didn’t have bedbugs.

The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The staff was also very courteous and professional.

The kitchen was equipped for cooking I did not feel that it was pet friendly I did not like your very unsatisfactory staff I did not like your two dollar charge for utilities I did not like your ten dollar charge for house mates doing their job
