comfortable room cozy bed I like that all and nice place near downtown

The staff was nice but hotel was not in good shape. We were coming to this city to see our daughter’s school function. Then the tropical storm hit, and the event was cancelled. I tried to cancel 48 hours in advance but they did not allow. I even asked if we could just get a rain check and use it when the event was ti be rescheduled 4 weeks later. They said no. Like I said though, the staff was very nice.

It was a pleasure staying there. The room was outstanding, the bed was awesome and I had a great view of the Sphere. Customer service was remarkable. Debra Berry was fantastic. She made me feel at home and helped me navigate around the city. Can't wait to return.

I come to this hotel often. And it NEVER disappoints. The staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean. One of the biggest reasons we continue to visit this location is Debra Berry!!!. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. Attention to detail (she remembered I use extra sheets, they were in the room waiting), kindness, and over all a big heart. I feel safe at this hotel. Even when I had an unfortunate medical event, she checked on me because she knew I was there alone with my nephew. I hold her as part of our Norfolk family. Debra needs a raise!!!. Thank you Wyndham and Mrs Debra *especially *. She truly is special. Hold on to her, and never let go.

Check in was quick as usual, room was clean, I choose this hotel because it's in walking distance of Scope Arena. Food was good Mr. Ed cooked some delicious blakened salmon our server Renee was sweet as well. I always love the views of Downtown Norfolk.

Black Tuna Grill was excellent Ms Renee the server was wonderful and very personable and Mr Ed the cook was very nice and accommodating this was the best experience !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!@@@@@@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a great location. However, the rooms need updating. The hot water ran out. The HVAC dripped the entire night causing noise throughout the night. The refrigerator was loud and disturbing which had to be unplugged. One of the pictures fell off the wall. You could hear everything the neighbors were doing and I mean everything! Doors slamming throughout the night wasn’t prudent for rest. Also, the $15/ day parking was a gouge as well!

The room was nice, but the bathroom needs to be renovated. The sink was cracked and the tub did not drain properly. It was old looking compared to the room.

Check in was easy. Great room, great staff, quiet floor and the view from 12th floor was amazing. I will certainly recommend a stay at this hotel. Only 1 issue. I thought breakfast was included but was not. Had to pay for my breakfast at a restaurant inside the hotel
