We stayed for 4 nights for a long weekend vacation. We were on the first floor, oceanside. So the view included a large portion of sand dune. It was still a beautiful view! And affordable on a budget. The air conditioner made odd sounds which disturbed our sleep the first night and is the reason I didn't give a 5 star rating. This is not a high end hotel but the beds are comfortale, the room very clean and the breakfast good. The staff were also nice and mostly pleasant.

I always try to stay at a BestWestern because they never let me down, and this trip was no exception I was pleased with everything right down to the amazing view , I have never not been satisfied with a BW hotel and I will always go out of my way to stay at one, I find the employees to be some of the best people in the business and I know because I worked for a Quality Inn when I was younger and I am amazed to find what they did still lives in other hotels also

Tina at the front desk is AMAZING! SO caring, hands on and very proactive. She deserves a raise. Please make that happen. I WILL follow up. We will come back from Ohio just to see her. The breakfast each morning is just what we needed. It's an older hotel. But clean and the ocean view was perfect.

I have to give it to the front desk clerk Keomen, she was fantastic. Had a problem with my room key, she not only upgraded me . But didn't charge me, I also want to say thanks to James of maintenance. I really appreciate it. Was down on a mini vacation..

The staff was great! Especially Crystal, who upon check-in, was patient with me when she had to relay that our room choice was not available and was changed due to the requested room not being a pet friendly room. The breakfast food choices were varied and changed and the hot food items changed daily (although the waffles were offered daily). The breakfast area was clean, well-organized, relatively spacious, and staff were efficient and courteous. Great value!

Very fair and nice breakfast and close and quiet beach nice place to fishing relax eat and swimming at the ocean and pool also near the pier .Dolphins swimming by the ocean, people walking gs their dogs while birds flying around and feel very secure while the police driving around the beach nice sunset

Best kept secret in Norfolk! This cute little hotel offers ocean front rooms at a reasonable price. Hotel is a bit older but always perfectly clean. Fomel at the Front Desk helped with a booking snafu when I arrived today. She was graceful and super accommodating. I love it when my work books this place when I teach on the Base.

The room was not cleaned. We booked because of good reviews saying it is clean and comfortable. The tub was filthy. The bedding on the king sized bed had not been changed. There was sand and dirt in the sheets. We have 4 people in our party. There was no bedding for the pullout bed. I had to get bedding for the pullout bed, and we tried to get bedding for the king size bed, after 2 attempts, the front desk said they only had 1 flat sheet for the king. (They previously gave us the wrong sized bedding) Housekeeping took 3 days to come to our room. They took out the trash and left us 3 clean towels. Again, we have 4 people in our party. The floors are linoleum and we're not swept at all. I guess we should have brought a broom. Since this is on the beach, sand comes in. On a good note, the location is good for the beach. Laid back and quiet. Breakfast is free and pretty good. The bed is comfortable too.

Don’t let the pictures fool you, this place is a dump, old , out dated, we had ants throughout the kitchen, we only stayed one night and went to a different hotel. Needs a complete renovation.cheap rates for a reason, the staff was friendly, out of the way to walk to anything.
