Perfect hidden gem
This was a great and relaxing place to stay. The couple running it are very welcoming and served delicious breakfast. Was a perfect place for our anniversary getaway.

Barn and wildflowers!
The couple that hosted/owned Cupola was excellent! The breakfast was amazing daily, The place was clean and easy to find! Loved having coffee by the wildflowers!!

Limited amenities but very nice people.
The couple was so kind. If you are looking to unplug (not have wi-fi or a lot of access to things nearby)this is the place for you. They had kittens and a beautiful nature area. I just want to make sure that people who are looking for a different type of experience are not misled. There is no Wi-Fi here. The breakfast was adequate. A good place for solitude and reflection.

Delightful and Relaxing
I felt so happy and at peace here. The hosts were friendly, and the location was beautifully landscaped. There is a river close by where you can sit and watch the rolling water. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The wraparound porch was so pleasant on a summer evening. I was greeted in the morning with a wonderful breakfast. There was no Wi-Fi, but that was a blessing. I enjoyed looking at the beautiful books about barns and covered bridges and just enjoying the peaceful setting.

Cute and quiet
Wow what an adorable place. We felt so welcomed and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing.... home cooked meals are the best. You're definitely off grid but it was so relaxing being off social media. I would stay here again.

Beautiful property and very nice owners! Country setting with walking trails around the acreage. It has well water so bring plenty of bottled water. You won’t want to drink it.

Can’t even describe how pleased we were with the Cupola Inn. Hosts Judy and Dale… nicest folks ever. The place was so welcoming… you’ll love it, too, especially if you love cats and barns!

The Cupola Inn celebrated its 25th anniversary the beginning of October. Great place, great couple, and great history! Their four daughters helped them make the place. Judy is a retired baker who makes great breakfasts! The husband, Dale, with some help from his two brothers, built the round barn with stone from a salvaged barn. The interior picture of the roof is gorgeous. I have a video of the inside with the hundreds of collectibles added over the years, but have not figured out how to download a 35 Meg video. $79 a night instead of $99. Will definitely go back and take advantage of canoeing or kayaking: the river runs along one border of the property.

If you love farms, barns and history, comfort and a great breakfast? Stay here. The hosts were so kind and friendly and loved showing us their barn collection. My sister and I considered it one of our best stays during a month long trip across the US. We learned a lot about cupolas and I took some wonderfully pictures. We highly recommend this quaint retreat from noise and stress. Just friendly and clean.
