Roch Castle

This was the most delightful hotel stay. The venue is beautiful, rooms are so clean and comfortable and the staff are so helpful. We stayed just one night but loved it here. During the evening we spent time in the lounge with other guests. The room was so quite and we felt well rested. Breakfast was truly delicious and being in a small number of guests per night the whole stay felt very personal and friendly!

What a magnificent experience to stay here, we couldn’t fault it at all. Beautifully restored castle. Staff were amazing, they couldn’t do enough for us. Will return when we are in the area. 100% recommendation and with the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast near by, it’s simply a win, win combination.

We stayed for two nights to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. It was perfect - such a unique building and experience. It was so relaxing. The anniversary card, truffles and love spoon were a thoughtful touch. We have already recommended the Castle to all of our family and friends.

Of all the accommodations we booked for this vacation, this is the one that we were anticipating the most and we were not disappointed. What a great experience. The hotel lives up to all the 5-star reviews. Our room (we stayed in the Ab Gryuffydd) was immaculate, comfortable, luxurious, and most of all unique. Even though the weather didn't cooperate as much as we would've liked (this is Western Wales after all, so...rain, fog, and mist are common), our views towards Newgale and the coast were still fantastic. The full Welsh breakfast, cooked to order was the best I've had on the trip. My wife had the poached eggs and bacon and were also very good. They offer a variety of other options for breakfast, included salmon and eggs (my choice for tomorrow morning. The common areas are fantastic, with a large living room area and glass-enclosed lounging/dining area on the second level. The hotel offers an honor bar with an assortment of liquors, wines, and beers. But, most of all, the coolest thing was that we got to stay in a 12th century Norman castle in total style and comfort. It was definitely worth the extra expense and I would recommend this experience to anyone coming to the Pembroke Coast/St. David's area.

Fabulous stay at Roch Castle. Everything was impeccable and fantastic to stay at such an unusual and beautiful place.

The staff are attentive, friendly, gracious, helpful and just lovely. The castle is breathtaking. The rooms are well appointed and the common area is comfortable. The wall walk offers great views to take in the Pembrokeshire coast and wind. We would love to come again with a group of friends or family.

As a previous reviewer said, a hidden gem! Difficult to express what a wonderful experience it was starting our Wales trip at the Roch Castle .. it is a castle after all! The staff were delightful, the room was 5*, the breakfast beautifully prepared and enough to last us until dinner. Suffice to say we wish we had booked a longer stay.

Amazing to stay in a beautifully restored castle for a special occasion, an entirely wonderful experience, the team at Roch were amazing too, very welcoming and helpful, will definitely visit again
