This place is a franchise so I was expecting way more, we travelled here off peak season in the middle of the month. Our needs were never accommodated from the beginning due to poor management and ridiculous rules. We asked to be upgraded to a sea view room because the hotel was empty they lied and said it’s full. I asked to be assisted organizing a romantic picnic on the beach, they offered assistance but made me wait a ridiculous amount of time so I left it out they were reluctant to help me all services require a huge wait time, even simple things. The staff were polite however and tried to help they were governed by unaccommodating rules. The access to the beach was the best part. The breakfast was also good. Will never return!

This is the worst accommodation one could choose. The food is very limited. The three items on the menu are served daily and take more than an hour & half to prepare. The kitchen runs out of stock and then we have to settle for alternatives. A restaurant should never run out of Potatoe chips!!!!!!

A great experience in the quint village of Zinkwazi. I did not expect such an upmarket establishment in this village. The staff are extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. beautiful views and great amenities.

We visited Ocean Reef at the last minute when our previously booked accommodation in the area turned out to be a disaster. Ameille the receptionist worked her magic and managed to accommodate my family of 12, one being disabled. Our stay was truly amazing and well worth the price. Will definitely be back!

We recently stayed at Ocean Reef Zinkwazi managed by ANEW, and while our experience started off a bit shaky, it quickly turned into something truly memorable — all thanks to the incredible Amile. We had originally booked a sea villa else where in Zinkwazi, but on arrival, we were disappointed to find there was no power or water. Naturally, this was quite frustrating after a long journey, and we were unsure of what to do next. That’s when we got in touch with the team at Ocean Reef, and Amile stepped in like an absolute rockstar. From the moment we spoke to her, Amile completely understood our dilemma and responded with the kind of empathy, professionalism, and speed that is rare to find these days. She calmly offered us two beautiful three-bedroom units as alternatives, gave us clear options, and even took the time to help with our luggage. She went well beyond customer service — she made us feel welcome, heard, and valued. Thanks to Amile, what could have been a ruined weekend turned into a warm, relaxing, and thoroughly enjoyable stay. The units were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, and the rest of our time at Ocean Reef was simply wonderful. ANEW, please take note — Amile is an absolute gem, and your brand shines because of people like her. We will definitely be back, and it’s largely because of how well we were treated in a difficult moment. Highly recommend this property — not just for its location, but for the incredible people who go the extra mile to make your stay special.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay. On a previous visit, I suggested installing plug points in all rooms for charging devices. I was very pleased to see that this recommendation had been implemented—it’s a clear sign that you truly value your guests’ feedback. I have just one small comment regarding breakfast. It would be great if items like bread, croissants, scones, and cupcakes could be kept covered. The croissants were delicious, but they were slightly hard—perhaps due to being left uncovered.
