Beautiful lodge in a beautifully quiet and serene location. We enjoyed watching and listening to the wildlife during the day. Dinner waiter service could have been better - we were not offered a drink and had to ask after the first course, we were given the bill before we had been offered the dessert menu, The starter and desserts were delicious. The main courses a little disappointing, chips were very greasy and over-cooked, beef curry was exceptionally dry and hence stodgy. We were told the restaurant closed at 9:30pm and needed to have ordered by 8:00pm which was fine. At 9:30pm a party of about 8 adults and a small child arrived to eat a pre-ordered meal. Unfortunately they continued to make a lot of noise and kick a football about for several hours while we were tring to sleep in room 2. It was disrespectful to all the guests who were staying and had to endure their partying. Breakfast was very good. Overall I would recommend this hotel and consider staying again. We were just unlucky with the other guests who were staying that night. However, I would have thought the owners would not have allowed the party to have gone on late into the night especially when people are getting up at 5:00am to go into Kruger.

Beautiful stay, upon arrival already in awe of the amazing view of the elephants, the river and waterbuck. The women at the reception were very welcoming, warm and helpfull. The restaurant staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was made up so neat everytime. High ceilings and good shower (also private outside shower!) Tranquility and a perfect base for gamedrives. Which were equally amazing. Good stay, will come back!
