Enchanted Manor

This B&B is a MUST. Perfect accommodation in every detail from the wonderfully appointed bedroom to the sensational breakfast. A whole new delicious experience of vegetarian fare. This Manor is indeed enchanting and deserves the highest accolade for attentive caring service and consummate professionalism .

The Buddle Inn is a lovely gem of a pub in The Ise Of Wight, good selection of real ales and ciders, friendly staff, real oldie world feel to the place, however the food left a lot yo be desired, waited over 45 mins for our food after the order was taken and I would say the pub was only half full at the time, my partner had the curry, chicken tikka masala presentation left a lot to be desired, was just slopped into a bowl, there was nt much taste to it and not a great deal of chicken, the naan bread was over cooked and crisp as if they had been re heated, I had the beef and ale pie with seasonal veg, broccoli and cabbage with was over cooked, chips were OK, the pie s crust was as hard as a fossilised tortoise, the beef itself was tender although to heavily seasoned with salt, I did nt add extra salt so it was nt that, the sauce was very rich so was nt sure if it was the meat or sauce which was over seasoned, it had the feel of food which had been left under a heated serving lamp to long, it was a shame as I had read reviews of the food and they were v good I was emensly disappointed... if i was to score the pub out of 10 I would happily say 8 or 9 the food I would only say it was 2... the chips were ok

Me and my partner have stayed here a few times over the last couple years this is our number one romantic spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life,every room we have stayed in has been amazing from the cleanliness to the small detail what makes the room enchanted The hospitality and the kindness of the owners and staff are outstanding and it is a really unforgettable experience to stay here They have an amazing coffee shop and beautiful conservatory where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the birds and red squirrel and lots other beautiful creatures

We stayed here over the Easter weekend and wow what an idyllic place and part of the island. It was very easy to get to and not too long a drive from Fishbourne. We arrived and parked in the car park with plenty of space to access the manor. We met Peta at the door and her aura was so calm and welcoming. She actually takes out time to greet and welcome you, she was very kind In explaining the Manor, services, rooms and local offerings. She took us on a delightful tour of the Manor and showed us our room which had a combined bathroom with a bath and shower. Unfortunately I was suffering from bad health and we enquired about changing our room and Peta was so kind in understanding and accommodating us. She offered us the enchantment room, which had a separate washroom and a lounge area. Wow, such luxury the rooms are spacious and in keeping with the enchantment atmosphere. There was an upgrade charge which I fully understood and was delighted to pay for them to accommodate our budget. The rooms are cleaned and topped up daily with filtered water and milk if needed. We had the pleasure of meeting Kevin, Alex the host who loves singing and Montana the delightful chef. This is a family owned recently purchased venture and will no doubt be improved and enhanced with the bright ideas that they have. Regrettably the property had been neglected by the previous owners not that one would be able to spot that. The name and themes are all in keeping with the Manor name. Peta was very well informed and a great calming personality she told us about the red squirrels and we were able to see several over our stay. The highlight was being able to see the badgers that would visit every evening around 8.30 each day. What a splendour to see up to three of them visiting in one day and enjoy the nuts that were put out for them. I have attached photos of the things that we enjoyed. There is a dvd room for those that are interested and a large breakfast room. I understand that they are thinking of offering meals in the near future, I am sure that they can only improve and expand the business into new offerings and I wish them all the best.

We had a great 2 night stay with Peta Alex and Montana. The room was fantastic with a very comfortable four poster bed, a separate sitting area and a bath and shower. The welcome from PETA was lovely. We felt right at home. Breakfast quality was first rate with the scrambled egg option excellent.It was great to see the red squirrels whilst we enjoyed our breakfast. The house decor was fascinating and contributes to the enchantment of the manor . Perfectly placed to visit everywhere on the island but quiet enough to enjoy walks along secluded footpaths. Excellent place

Dear Enchanted family, We can't begin to thank you for making our first year wedding anniversary and our first visit to the Isle of Wight an unforgettable experience. One may think that the manor is enchanted because of its long history or perhaps due to its beautifully decorated rooms and surroundings, but we are absolutely convinced that the source of magic is you guys. The minute we walked in we were overwhelmed by the warmth and kindness of Alex who exuberates just positive energy! She made sure we got the most of every moment spent here, including a nice sweet and bubbly surprise on the eve of our anniversary! Soon we also got to experience the culinary talent that is her sister Montana who prepared various breakfasts like no other, full of flavour, balanced with the right amount of herbs, which tantalised our taste buds every morning. We have no doubt that their father Kevin is so proud of them two, as we could clearly see from his excitement as he kept us entertained with stories of their family adventures, tales of the animals that live at the manor and the wild stories that surround the Enchanted Manor! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this surreal and magical experience. We look forward to seeing you on our next trip.
