The hotel is very well maintained and showcases amazing Kashmiri culture.
The property is about 2.5kms from Nishat Garden which helped us visit Nishat view point and carry out Shikara ride. Shalimar Gardens are at a walking distance from this hotel.
This hotel serves amazing food both veg and non veg. The dining hall is absolutely stunning and restaurant manager Mr Abdul is a wonderful host.
Excellent room service was provided throughout. Staff is very young and co-operative. They go out of their way to provide lovely service to their customers. Special mention to Mr Faisal for the service provided to us.

The hotel is extremely disappointing and not worth the price. The heating is inadequate, there’s no internet, and the food quality is poor with a repetitive menu. The café is rarely open, and even when it is, there’s no staff available to prepare anything—it seems to exist only for show.

Worst place to stay here . We have visited multiple places but never been into such disgusting hotel. They just have a building which doesn't even provide basis facilities like hot water and food was pathetic. We have kids with us and office staff could not even able to provide basic food like milk, oats or porridge. It was getting really painful to stay there for 5 days when our kids were hungry and they were not able to provide them the good food

We are three couples stay in The hotel grand mahal -this is old property air condition are very poor and old . front side rooms are thik thak Foods are good service good 😊 staffs are very friendly fan also not working required so much renovation

The heater wasn’t working in the hotel. The temperature was below 0 degrees. Travellers were senior citizens. At 9 pm after lots of discussions with hotel they shifted to different room. Entire day spoilt and senior citizens got unwell in cold weather

The hotel is good, it has lounge area where you can sit and relax. Also the rooms are okay, but for nicer rooms you need to book directly But the food of the hotel is very bland, no taste nothing. Good for people with weak stomach, but adults may find the taste a bit off
