Great hotel. I visit Ningbo very often. I stayed at this hotel several times. I try to book a room with a balcony. Cleaning every day, very friendly staff, there is breakfast, there is laundry and a small gym. The hotel is located in the very center of the city, very close to the train station. Not far from the hotel there is a central square where various shops and restaurants are located. Very close to the historical quarter in the colonial style. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

The magician like design was amazing and it is a magical place for selfie ! It is worth to come with friends and share a fantastic moment together. It took me around 1 hour to explore different areas and took photos. The room was European style and spacious, you can enjoy the beautiful scene nearby. The design of your room door is a book shelf that you need to find which book you tab the key card to open the door. No worries the beautiful staff will teach you. Compliments to the nice female staff who help me to store the suitcases after check out.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Ningbo, China, which had a super location close to Ningbo Railway Station. The hotel's proximity to the station made it convenient for transportation. However, there were a few aspects of my stay that could have been better.
The location of the hotel was indeed excellent, with easy access to the railway station. This made it convenient for exploring the city and accessing transportation options . The hotel's proximity to shopping streets and attractions added to its appeal.
Regarding the food, I would described as ”okay” . It seems that there were various dining options available, but the experience may have varied depending on the specific choices made.
One aspect that could be improved is the English proficiency of the reception staff. According to the search results, the staff's ability to communicate in basic English was limited . This could pose a challenge for non-Chinese guests who require assistance or have specific inquiries.
During my two-night stay, I also noticed a strong smell of cigarettes in the room. This could be a concern for those who are sensitive to smoke or prefer smoke-free environments.
Overall, the hotel's super location near Ningbo Railway Station was a major advantage. However, it is important to note the potential language barrier with the reception staff and the presence of a cigarette smell. These factors may be worth considering when choosing accommodations in Ningbo

The hotel is right next to Ningbo Station, and the location is good. The room was upgraded and the room was large, but the experience was quite bumpy. The air conditioner didn't heat up after turning on it for two hours, so I asked the waiter to check on the wind... Then the engineer came and saw that the power was cut off for 10 minutes to fix it. Fortunately, it was fixed, but it was also freezing. The door of the shower room and the door of the toilet are the same, push and pull, but when you push it to the shower room, the door does not lock tightly, and it will slowly return to the toilet... The water pressure in the shower is also very small! The room I was staying in must have been on the sixth floor, and it only had normal water pressure... Breakfast was very simple. When I arrived at the restaurant after eight o'clock, there was no toast, not much milk left, and the coffee machine had to push the beans manually... The supplement was also not timely... There are many flaws, but the location is the best.

A very pleasant booking experience at Langham Hotel
Room facilities: At first I was worried whether the hotel would be old, but it turned out not to be! The room was very clean and the river view was just right. The toiletries were great~ I liked the smell of the body lotion and the hair dryer had a strong wind
📍Location and transportation: Nearby are the Cultural Square, Hankyu, Hongtai, and Yintai. It is also close to the subway entrance and is very convenient to travel
🍃Service: Carry and Bessy at the front desk provided good service. If there were any problems or needs with the room, they would arrive by phone. They could also deliver takeout
The price-performance ratio is also very high. I will book here again next time I come to Ningbo

Sure, it is a stunning resort and overall we enjoyed the experience. However it is far from perfect. A few issues to consider:
1) I booked a deluxe room and relying on the picture I was expecting a sofa bed on the balcony. There was no sofa bed! Bummer.
2) The bathtub is quite small, mostly for one person.
3) The guest rooms feel/are quite distant from the lake. The view is so so.
4) The resort is not really on the lake, there is a road separating it from the lake. so no rooms or villa really on the lake.
5) They mention a shuttle bus to nearby Hanling old street, but it was only running every 2 hours and needed booking... a bit complicated for a 4 minute ride.
6) The main building with the lobby has very limited facilities. Just a small deck for outdoor dining.
Overall ok, recommend to book on a weekday when the price is cheaper. I give 5 for service because it was a busy weekend and personnel was all very professional and efficient, but I did not experience anything exceptional. I tried the high end Chinese restaurant that was good and also the breakfast in line with a 5 star hotel.

SScarletTheWandererNew Century Resort Jiulong Lake exceeded all my expectations and provided a truly enjoyable stay. The staff was incredibly friendly, going out of their way to be helpful and offering valuable tips on things to do in the area. 包智慧 was especially kind and helpful! The room I stayed in had a beautiful view of the water, giving it a tropical vibe. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of delicious options, and the resort was very family-friendly.
While it was a shame that the outdoor pool was only open in July and August, the indoor pool and hot tub were still great. The resort's proximity to the Scenic Area allowed for a day of exploration, with hiking trails leading to waterfalls and a lovely temple. The resort was surrounded by lush trees, creating a serene atmosphere that I highly recommend.
The option to rent bikes and participate in various activities added to the enjoyment of the stay. I particularly appreciated the pleasant bonfire evenings with music, which provided a nice touch without being too loud. Overall, I highly recommend New Century Resort Jiulong Lake as a place to relax and unwind. It's conveniently located just a 45-minute taxi ride from the Ningbo train station.

NNgaire323We went to this lovely hotel in the ‘Cloud Forest’ directly after National Holiday with our family of 4 (2 toddlers) and my parents. We had two Songyuan rooms which were totally amazing. Stunning view of the trees and river and extremely spacious and thought out.
In fact the entire resort is beautiful and our kids LOVED the golf cart rides to dinner.
We got very unlucky with weather as it poured the two days we were there but we still managed the walk to Chiang Kai-sheks villa and water feature - which was beautiful and interesting.
On a slightly different note, with a western perspective there were a couple areas for improvement.
Ideally the restaurant menus could be translated to English and left in the rooms (it’s a nightmare trying to translate a menu, pick what to order with 2 hungry kids at a restaurant).
Also, the playroom wasn’t a playroom while we were there which was a big disappointment since it was raining. Not as advertised - just carpet in a room (which the kids did still have fun running around on).
Finally, a good hiking map of the area in the room would have been appreciated too.

GGuest UserOn the day of our check-in, the hotel called in advance to confirm the approximate arrival time. They turned on the air conditioner in the room in advance, put out welcome fruits and welcome meals. The service attitude was very good, and there were desserts in the evening.
I booked a twin-bed sea view room with a balcony. The view from the balcony is very good. The room is relatively quiet and the equipment is very complete! We can see the sea view, but it's a pity that it's a bit cloudy. We will stay here next time we come!

The location of the hotel is very advantageous, and there is a parking lot. There is a Japanese restaurant upstairs. The ingredients used are very fresh. Go to the Old Bund at night, and there is also the Catholic church. It is really beautiful. The breakfast of the hotel is considered to be better for this price. There is also a better fully automatic coffee machine. But I don’t know why, your beans are really hard to drink. It feels too bitter. I hope the hotel can improve this. TTianxinFreyaService: I always book hotels on Ctrip, because most hotels have a dedicated Ctrip butler who will contact us the day before the trip. This time our butler is Ivy Chen. The girl is very enthusiastic and actively answers questions. She helped us arrange a suitable room. Because we traveled before the National Day, there were fewer people, so she helped us upgrade for free. Thumbs up!
Environment: The environment in the hotel is very good. I put the photos below. Few hotels have toilets that are almost the same size as the room. It's so spectacular (it is recommended to bring your own disposable bathtub bag). I also like the round bed on the balcony, lying down and enjoying the sea view and water park directly. (The balcony door is really good in sound insulation. As long as the door is closed, you can't hear the outside world)
Facilities: You don't need to wear a swimsuit to play in the outdoor water park. The water slide is not big, but it is enough for kindergarten and children under grade 3! The outdoor water is not deep, which is very suitable for children. We also went to play in the indoor swimming pool, and I feel that the outdoor one is more distinctive!
In addition, the brothers who took the photos during the trip were also very funny, and the photos were also great in post-production. You can choose three photos for free, and you can choose more if you think they are good. Don't be scared by the price of 80 yuan per photo, it's actually not much money.
Finally, let's talk about the meal. Because there were few people on the first night, there was no buffet, so we had to go out for dinner. As a result, we had to walk for 7 minutes and drive around a long way. We ordered a set meal and two plates of clams in the scenic area next door. The taste was good, but it was not cheap. It cost about 400 yuan for 2 adults and 2 children. The second night, the hotel buffet was free because the second baby was still small, and the first baby was over 1m2. The price of the set meal for two adults was 528. Don't use Ctrip's 100 yuan coupon. It's more cost-effective to buy a set meal directly!

JJamieI booked the Seclusive Life resort for a 2 night weekend getaway while I am working in Zhejiang. It was a beautiful, relaxing experience. The mountains were so lush and green. The best part of the resort was the staff. Everyone was so helpful. I do not speak Chinese but we were able to communicate via WeChat very easily. The staff really went above and beyond to make my experience comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very good. I ordered my meals a day in advance and the staff sent me a message when my food was prepared. I enjoyed the pool that is filled with cold mountain water. I did some hiking starting at the resort and really enjoyed the mountain scenery. Unfortunately the tub did not work in my room and there was a lot of mold in the shower but I think that is unavoidable in this humid climate. At the end of my stay the staff was about to help me arrange a driver to Xeudou Temple and Zhongcun Scenic area. I highly recommend this place for a relaxed, stress free getaway. One note, there are a lot of stairs (193 to my room) to get to the cabins so anyone with mobility issues will need to be sure to reserve a room they can reach. Again, ***** for the staff. Super.

DDan R-LTruly stunning. A warm welcome with amenities and extras all explained. Booked a spa treatment and dinner from the front desk.
The lake facing room had the best view I've ever had from a hotel. A shuttle service to take us to the spa village. The spa treatments were in a cute massage house with excellent service.
Dinner was at the fish restaurant which had a variety of reccomended dishes as well as meat or veg options. This allowed for a nice walk back in the evening going around the grounds.
Good facilities with a lovely indoor pool and a games room.
Breakfast had a huge amount of choice that was constantly being refilled. One downside was children running around with whistles blaring but that is down to poor parenting not the hotel. Nice again to walk around the grounds after breakfast.
The room had a comfy bed and huge windows to show the view. A very nice bath too but it would've been improved by including some bath salts or bath lotion.
Downsides - the air conditioning in the room wouldn't drop below 24°, fapiaos were a little complicated and not exactly how we wanted it, the shuttle buggys could be slow to arrive and the drivers could dissappear and you would wait for 10 minutes with no driver. The 'Red bar' was also closed so no where to go for a quiet drink.

GG YapVery convenient location. Took the subway from Ningbo Airport. Just took me a while to find where to cross the street from Ningbo Railway Station to Hotel.
- walking distance to Subway, Railway and South Bus Station (around 10-15 min walk)
Stayed here for our day-trip to Mount Putuo, took a bus to Wugongshi Wharf and back. Then took a bullet train to Shanghai.

EErnst NZThis is an interesting place as it’s old, contemporary style of an area past, dim lights everywhere, traditional wooden panels alongside huge heigh ceilings. It brings back a time of glamour, reminded me of the Titanic in its former glory. Yet the rooms are crammed, I hit my foot twice on the floor bed corner. The staff are friendly and helpful, english is spoken at reception. Would i stay here again? Probably not, as the darkness of the room, ( windows do open slightly) felt depressing. However great location, cross the river and you are in the mids of the city. Ernst , New Zealand
