Hampton Inn Niles/Warren

This review is a bit late but this hotel made such an impression that I had to remember to leave something! I visited this hotel on a business trip in April 2024 and this hotel chain is great about texting me before my arrival to see if I need anything in my room. I know they're asking about extra pillows, etc but I never really have an answer for them. Before my arrival to this specific hotel though I randomly recalled one of those internet stories where the person asked for a picture of their favorite celebrity to be in the hotel room and decided to try it here! I responded to their message by saying, "Framed picture of Dave Grohl! Just kissing. Thank you for asking though!" and thought nothing of it. Just maybe that it would make someone smile. Moments later I received a reply from Jackie saying that she would do her best to make it happen for me. Later that day when I arrived, I was tired and had honestly forgotten about the interaction so imagine my laughter when I entered my room to see a beautifully framed photo of Dave Grohl right next to the TV! In addition, the housekeeper (I believe her name was Sarah? Please correct me if I'm wrong!) had built a few towel animals and placed them around my room. This was one of those adorable above and beyond moments and I am thankful to Jackie, Kelsey, Julie, Sarah, and everyone else who made my stay so enjoyable. If I'm ever in the area again I am 100% going to stay with you.

I stay at a lot of Hamptons around the country and they are for the most part always good and consistent in quality and services. First time I stayed at this Hampton (usually stay at one off art 80 - West Youngstown) and in a large mall/entertainment district. Loved up to Hampton reputation - clean, friendly staff, comfortable. Would recommend.

Our stay here has been a pleasant stay. We've been here since January 8th due to our home had a major waterline break. This is a very clean hotel.We would highly recommend this place. This is our 2nd stay here. Our 1st visit here was also a great stay.

Let me preface this by saying we have been staying at Hampton/Hiltons for over 20 years. In that time, we have caused zero issues during our stays. I pride myself on being a very honest person. Now our experience...This was a short trip for our family to enjoy a Christmas/New Years inexpensive overnight trip. We ordered pizza, tired the kids out in the pool and spent some time playing cards while the kids slept. We left the next day after sleeping in and unfortunately missing breakfast. The pool was not as warm as other hotels, but still fun. The location was kind of busy, but easy to get to. All in all, it was a successful trip....UNTIL I was reconciling my check book. We were initially charged $150 two times. This was in addition to and separate from our regular hotel room fees. Then one of the $150 was refunded. I called and asked why we were charged $150. I was informed that after we left housekeeping FOUND the curtains broken on the floor (all of the clips broken!!) We were informed we LEFT it that way. Let me be very clear, we would NEVER leave a room in such disarray!! And from my experience with hotels, pulling and breaking those curtains would require so much force, you literally would have to Tarzan from the curtains to cause that much damage. Completely ridiculous and definitely didn't happen on our watch. We are being told by management that there is nothing they can do. Are you kidding me?? And also, we were never even notified that there was damaged, shouldn't you contact the customer before you just charge their account so much?? All in all-customer service nowadays is gone. Make sure you CYA if you stay here. Take pictures of your room because I definitely will be in my future stays, but I definitely won't stay here!!

Beautiful room 411, like new, super clean and shiny and housekeeping had even found time to put cute little towel sculptures out. Room was quiet, shower was good with controls on opposite side from water, thoughtful design. Internet was good and HBO was good. Desk staff helpful, thank you! Also appreciate a working bathroom fan and added night light. Nice nice breakfast but coffee weak. Located conveniently next to Mall and movie theater. Would actually be walkable except we were here during a blizzard.
