The hotel is very well located at the end of the trendy shopping street where there are also many restaurants, close to Grote Markt, Waal quay, Kronenburger park. Our room was apparently being renovated because there was a penetrating paint smell and paint traces on the bathroom floor that had not yet been removed. Had to connect TV and reinstall.
Maybe details for some but should be fine.

Wat een smerige kamer hadden wij, de poep van de vorige bewoners nog op de wc en de kots nog onder de verwarming, haren bed, vlekken in beddengoed en dan laat ik de kleine dingen nog achterwege. Nadat we dit vriendelijk gemeld hebben zou dit opgelost worden, toen we in de avond terug kwamen was er niks veranderd! Schandalig! Vanmorgen nogmaals ons beklag gedaan, volgens de beste man stond in het systeem dat het verholpen was meer kon hij niet voor ons doen! Waardeloos, nooit meer!!!

Very nice authentic hotel, with a nice location at the beginning of the city close to the train and parking. Room was nice and spacious and clean. Breakfast was unfortunately not available. But in the street itself you have plenty of nice options for breakfast

Prima verblijf in de Gulden Waagen
Een leuk hotel met mooie kamer ,zat aan een rustige kant.
Wel vind ik het oppassen met de 2 opstapjes.
Gelijk bij binnenkomst zat er al 1,struikelde bijna de 1e dag omdat de gordijnen dicht zaten vanwege de hoge temperatuur die dag.
Was toen even vergeten dat het opstapje er zat.
Met de gordijnen open ook wel steeds even oppassen.
Fijn bed ook.
Maar jammer dat het ontbijt niet in hetzelfde hotel zat maar in een ander aan de overkant.
Verder vriendelijk ontvangen bij de receptie bij aankomst.
