The room is spacious, with bright windows, not far from the station. The breakfast is very delicious, very quiet, and the scenery outside the window is very good. The staff has a good service attitude, thoughtful and enthusiastic.

Art hotel in Niigata is great. A very accessible location in many restaurants around especially the main station of Niigata. The hotel is clean and they have a very welcoming staff. We stayed there for one night only but we will definitely stay again.

We recently stayed at Hotel Okura in Niigata and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully situated overlooking the Shinano River, providing stunning views, especially during sunset. The location is very convenient, with easy access to the JR Niigata Train Station and Niigata Airport, making it a great base for exploring the area. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. We particularly enjoyed the variety of dining options available at the hotel, including a French restaurant and a Japanese restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We appreciated their attentiveness and willingness to assist with any requests we had. Overall, Hotel Okura Niigata offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Niigata.

We stayed here for 1 night but unfortunately the aircon in my room was spoilt, we informed the hotel staff and instead of fixing they told us to live with it and tried to struck off the matter… seriously even though we stayed only 1 night we shouldn’t be treated like that

The location is less than 5 minutes' walk from Niigata Station. It is located in a quiet alley, so it is very quiet. In addition, the breakfast is rich and balanced. In addition to rare fruits (tomatoes and strawberries), even the miso soup is full of vegetables. Excellent value for money, highly recommended. The nearby Hakusan Shrine is a famous place of worship for marriage, and the Bandai Museum of Art building can be climbed up to see the distance.

It's a little bit of a walk from Niigata Station, about a 10-minute walk, but it's located in Bandai City and there are many convenience stores, restaurants, and shopping facilities nearby, so it's in a convenient location. The room is small, but has everything you need, and it's also helpful that there's a coin laundry in the common area. It's been nearly half a century since it opened, so it's hard to hide its age, but it's clean and has a retro feel to it in a good way. The staff are also very helpful.

I stayed by car. The location was about 25 minutes walk from Niigata Station, but about 10 minutes walk from the Bandai Bus Center and Nishibori area, so I thought it was a good location considering the ease of parking since I went around Niigata City. The building is a little old, but it was clean, the facilities were sufficient, and the customer service was good, so I was very satisfied.

Location relatively close to Niigata train station. Price was good for a last minute stay. Room was big and even had a massage chair. Bathroom was smaller than the Shinjuku hotel but still decently sized.

There is no bathroom in the single room, only a toilet and sink, but the large bath is great for soaking in hot springs. Towels will be changed every day and a small bottle of water will be provided, as well as strawberry jelly on the first day. From 9:30 to 11:00 in the evening, half portions of free ramen are provided. Go directly to the restaurant on the second floor and you will be given a number plate to pick up your meal. You need to bring a card to use the large bath. After soaking, there are free popsicles outside, and you can also buy milk at your own expense. A bottle is 130 yen. The breakfast is also above the standard, with free fried shrimp and fried pork chops. The overall experience is pretty good!

The location is excellent. It's directly connected to the station, but it was quiet. I chose the plan that included breakfast, which was mainly Japanese food and included local cuisine, which was great.
