Take bus No. 17 from Niigata Station for 260 yen to Niigata Nikko Hotel in Tokimi. The guest rooms are from the 22nd to the 29th floor. I lived on the 27th floor with a wide view. There are supermarkets, restaurants, etc. on the second floor of the hotel, and there is an exhibition hall on the fifth floor. , it happened to be an Egyptian art exhibition. Although the hotel room was small, it was clean and refreshing, and the overall feeling was very comfortable. It was only 1.5 kilometers away from Niigata Station, which was a bit far to walk. But despite its flaws, this hotel is still pretty good!

GGuest UserOverall it's very good, the room is clean and tidy, and the check-out time is more reasonable than some hotels in Japan. I think it's no problem to live alone. There are barbecue and supermarkets nearby.

GGuest UserI made a reservation on the spot and stayed in a Deluxe Twin Room (with extra bedding) for three people including my child (almost an adult). The extra bedding was normal size and no problem. Even with the extra bed, the room didn't feel cramped. The staff were very attentive and had a calming atmosphere, so I was able to stay comfortably. The view of the Shinano River from the room was great, and I was able to sleep well without being bothered by the surrounding noise. The breakfast the next morning had a wide variety of options and was all delicious! We also had the chance to try different types of rice, so we were able to enjoy a taste unique to Niigata.

VVacayWonderful stay. Breakfast was good. Plenty of different drinks like smoothies, coffee/tea and milk. Service from the gentleman handling international guests was welcoming, helpful and friendly. However I do find the staff at the check in counters very stern looking who do not smile and are generally unfriendly .

GGuest UserThe location of this hotel is very good, right next to the station, and transportation is very convenient. The railway and bus are concentrated downstairs, and it is convenient for food, accommodation and transportation. The room is clean, spacious and quiet. It is a very standardized and professional hotel, worth recommending.

CcarolienNice hotel withe rooms of various sizes. For me it was spacious enough. Bed was comfortable, would have liked one more cushion.
Room was clean an I liked that i could open the window. It was quite hot in the room because the heater was turned on. Even if i turned it off hot air came out.
Room was clean and had everything i needed. You can also get things at the front desk.
Breakfast was buffetstyle and really very good with a lot of choises, both Japanese, local and western.
Location was very convenient near the train station. About max a 5 minutes walk. Near the hotel there are a lot of places to eat or have a drink. At the station is a shopping mall.

GGuest UserDormy Inn offers breakfast made with local ingredients and regional cuisine, offers midnight noodles, and has many hot springs in its large public baths, so I often stay here even though it is a little pricey. This was my first time in Niigata, but it was very good. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

HHuiruThe location is less than 5 minutes' walk from Niigata Station. It is located in a quiet alley, so it is very quiet. In addition, the breakfast is rich and balanced. In addition to rare fruits (tomatoes and strawberries), even the miso soup is full of vegetables. Excellent value for money, highly recommended.
The nearby Hakusan Shrine is a famous place of worship for marriage, and the Bandai Museum of Art building can be climbed up to see the distance.
