My wife and I have had a 3-night stay at this Comfort Inn Niigata Chuo Inter Hotel Room #518 from 16 to 19 October 2025.
The Hotel is located in the outskirt of the Niigata City Centre and just a 5-km drive walk away. The 5-storey hotel has modest reception on the First Floor, and the hotel staff are polite and helpful, and they are able to communicate in simple English. It also provides free parking for hotel guests at a first-come-first serve basis. So we are grateful and thankful that we had enjoy free parking for 3 days! It also provides free coffee and tea via machines 24 hours daily.
As the Hotel is located quite away from the city centre of this small city, so there is no shopping centre nearby except a quite sizeable well stocked Challenger Supermarket that is 350 metres away, and it carries a big varieties of fresh sushi and sashimi for takeaway in good portions and attractive prices, and it tastes as fresh and as good as any restaurant!
The hotel room is the standard typical type whereby it is small but very clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable for our liking, and the small bathroom - again the typical Japanese type - is clean and its has strong water pressure for a comfortable shower!
At SGD S$81 per night without breakfast, we find it value for money and we will choose to stay here if we travel to Niigata again.

お風呂も広くて良かったですが、お風呂のカーテンが浴槽から離れていたので下がビチョビチョになったのが残念でした。それとアメニティはイマイチでしたがその他は満足です。

昨年に引き続き利用させて頂きました。
部屋の広さはよくあるビジネスホテルと似たような感じですが、清潔に保たれておりベッドの寝心地が良いように感じます。
立地はインターに近いのであちこち行ったりするのに便利です。
