Niigata Hotels with Bars

The hotel is a good choice for small group of traveller. I am impressed by the low price and excellent hygiene of this hotel. The view is panoramic to the harbor. However, the air-conditioner sometimes does not work and we have to call the front desk to turn on the cooling for the room every other day. There is no gym room or facilities in the hotel except the lower floors of the building is indeed a famous art museum and exhibition or some sort. It could be interesting to visit the museum. Hotel in Japan seldom comes with gym facilities so I am not too annoyed by that.

One of our favorite hotels that we stayed at on our tour. The layout of our room was great as the bathroom was spacious and a little further away from the beds as compared to the other rooms we stayed at. The room was super clean, the breakfast buffet was very yummy and the best part is that we could login to netflix! Such a funny but convenient perk.

My family and travelled to Niigata at the end of April 2023 and had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Okura Niigata. Prior to the trip, I had reached out to them via email to inquire about coordinating a van + driver for us (6 of us) so that we could go visit some sake breweries and to make dinner reservations for us at a nearby restaurant. The concierge team was amazing and booked a large van (jumbo taxi) and driver for the day. they also ensured that the van could accommodate a folding wheelchair for one group member that needed it. The van and driver arrived on time and was quite reasonably priced. Great experience that was made possible by the hotel team! Upon return to the hotel, we realized we had left some items on the van - the hotel called the taxi company and coordinated the return of our items. Beyond these experiences, the hotel itself is a bit older but rooms are comfortable and fairly spacious for a hotel room in Japan. Location is great and the breakfast buffet was one of the better ones we had on this trip. If I should ever travel back to Niigata, I will most definitely be staying here. The hotel and team won my business by going above and beyond...even for Japan standards of customer service! Domo arigatogozaima****a!!!

Stayed for １ night watching soccer. It is a little far from Niigata Station, but within walking distance. The surrounding area is comfortable for shopping and playing in the downtown area. It is also close to the bar. The hotel itself is old, but it is perfect with a chic design. It is enough to sleep in a single room. The restroom is also an old-fashioned washlet. Breakfast is buffet and you can enjoy Niigata local food. It is a hotel that I want to use next time.

It is a little far from downtown and there is a hotel in the residential area. I had to walk with a sense of purpose to go to the convenience store. The Shinano River looks clean and is quite good. There are many people jogging and walking on the riverside. Because it is a river with a lot of water, it looks calm, but the water surface is quite high, so I looked at it while thinking that if the amount of water increases a little, it is likely to flood. The room is twin single youth. The room size was written as 18 ㎡, but it seems to be the same. The hotel itself is quite old building, and the lobby is quite old impression. The facilities are quite old. The room is cleanly cleaned, but when you look at the window or the window, it remains old, so it feels a pity. When you open the window of the room, the walls of another building in the hotel extend to one side. Room 614. The view should be good because the Shinano River extends beyond this other building, but is it a banquet hall building? When you look down from the window, it looks like a banquet hall because the tatami room extends. There are not many streets in the car, although you can see the Shinano River and Yanagito Ohashi bridge from the gap. There are people staying in the next room, and there seem to be many other guests, but it is good to hear nothing at all and quiet. The infrastructure such as soundproofing facilities is substantial.
