What a rare hidden gem! It felt like I was dining at a Michelin chef's home! Staff were friendly and the food not only delicious, but also affordable. The dining area outside is built to resemble an ancient kraal under the stars and the finishing touches inside makes this a truly unique find.

This place is truly my serene sanctuary, a comforting home away from home. Every visit is met with warm, genuine hospitality, making me feel completely welcome and at ease. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, with a peaceful ambiance that soothes the soul. The food is nothing short of a delightful adventure, each bite offering bold, tantalizing flavors that transport me to new culinary horizons.

Barbara and her staff are fantastic and the accommodation is clean, comfortable and in a beautiful setting. Breakfast was excellent and the whole experience ensured we had a wonderful time in Nieu Bethesda. I highly recommend The Ibis Lounge

Memorable
Unexpected excellence in a quaint old country dorp. An old house beautifully renovated but without being ultra modern.
Welcomed by Barbara with great friendliness and always there to help, We also had dinner one night and it was of the highest standard Unreservedly recommended
