Maria and Dimitri are a lovely couple , there home is beautiful and has a lovely British theme , Maria’s breakfast was set outside in the beautiful garden , the breakfast table was laid out to perfection all china , the Eggs Benedict which is one of my favourite morning dishes was to die for, done to perfection , nothing is to much trouble for Maria , and the location is fantastic as you just stroll about 10 yards to the main straight and niagra on the lake is so beautiful the flowers and there perfume are breathtaking, we used Ubers to get to all niagra falls tourist spots

We stayed 2 nights in the Georgian room on the 2nd floor on a cool and rainy weekend. Our Hostess Maria, was very informative and an excellent cook. The Georgian room was very clean and had everything we needed. Maria left coffee and bakery items outside our door at 8am. Breakfast was served at 9am. We didn't get to enjoy the patio and gardens but they were beautiful to look at. The house is located very close to the main street. We just parked our car and walked everywhere. We were given a house key as well as a room key so we could come and go as we pleased. One item to note, the driveway is only one car wide but will easily accommodate 3-4 cars. Maria moves cars when necessary to accommodate guests who need to leave but are "blocked in". Still, this is so much better than having to pay for street parking.

Maria is the ultimate host! The beds are extremely comfortable, the food beyond compare and the patio area was perfect for happy hour. AND, it is just a block from the main drag. Maria is wonderful to work with. We arrived early and she allowed us to check in. The parking is a bit of a trick but she manages it for everyone.

We recently spent two nights at the Wilson-Guy house. Our host Maria was so lovely and served a very nice breakfast both days. Her husband was also pleasant. The house was very clean and nicely decorated suiting the historic age of the house. We were in the queen room on the main floor which is small but nicely done. There was a lot of room in the walk in closet and the bathroom was quite nice. The location is excellent; 3 doors to the main street. It was nice and quiet in the house. We would definitley stay here again. Niagara on the lake is so beautiful!

The HWG House is one block from everything. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was wonderful, and the hostess gracious and welcoming. Parking is convenient. Victoria Street is beautiful and leads to the Lake. Great place to stay in in Niagara on the Lake!

A beautiful historic home. We were made so very welcome by Maria. Our room on the top floor was spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The morning coffee and muffins left outside our door was a wonderful start to the day followed by a delicious breakfast. Totally recommend this B & B.
