Woodbourne Inn

Our stay at the Woodbourne Inn really made our trip to the Niagara region something very special. The property and the inn itself are lovely. The staff was fantastic. The room was large and comfortable with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Beds that are too soft hurt my back--the beds at the Woodbourne were nicely supportive and we slept well. The kitchen did an amazing job accommodating our dietary preferences. Every morning, the breakfast was fantastic. Overall, one of the nicest places I've ever stayed.

Perfect choice. We made a last minute decision to stay a night in NOLA and found this Inn. Originally we had Room 6 but we had a complimentary upgrade. We had an our choice of rooms and chose Room 5. It was perfect and enjoyed the comfortable bed, linens and shower. All of the rooms are modern but still have the historical charm. Very clean and attention to detail. There is a guest pantry stocked with coffee, tea, homemade granola, plates, glasses etc, Also, iron and ironing boards, steamers and I much appreciated the bug spray as the no seeums really like me. We enjoyed the garden with a glass of wine. We had tea and a latte served at 8 am to our room with an almond croissant (my husband loved and he doesn’t care for nuts) and homemade granola and strawberry pairfait for me. Breakfast was served on the patio. My husband had the Chefs take on a BLT and a special frittata was made for me to accommodate my food allergies. Absolutely delicious. We wish we had more than one night to stay here but will definitely stay again the next time we plan to pass this way.

We spent the night at the Woodbourne as part of a family wedding evening. We had a wonderful sleep (super comfy beds), pleasant experience (great atmosphere) and a fabulous breakfast (DEELISH food). The check in and communication was amazing and the Hostess (Yvonne) was extremely friendly and helpful! Was the first visit for us, but definitely won't be our last!

We stayed at the Woodbourne inn for three nights and really enjoyed it. The house is super clean and decorated nicely. The chef who cooks breakfast is fantastic. The dishes were so so pretty and tasty. She makes treats for you to have in your room and the cookies were my favorite. The rooms and linens are nice with a iron and steamer in the guest pantry if needed. The only thing is that there are no tvs. While this isn’t an issue, I do think it should be noted :) The town of Niagara on the Lake shuts down pretty early so no real night life.

This is an incredible historic inn to stay at if you want a luxury stay while you're in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The furnishings are incredible and really add to the high-end feel of the inn. We stayed in the Romantic Room with a fireplace and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. There were bath salts in the bathroom to use and gowns which were a nice added touch. The breakfast is unlike any you'll ever have and is a fancy twist on a traditional breakfast.

Lovely 2 days visiting Niagara on the Lake. The Woodbourne Inn is a beautiful bed and breakfast that provides excellent accommodations and exemplary service. We enjoyed our modest room, the delicious pre-breakfast trays in our room and the unique breakfasts served in the outdoor garden area. They surprised us with a special anniversary treat in our room. We took advantage of the fun local restaurant down the street one evening, then used the special pantry with bottled water and homemade treats back at the Inn. We enjoyed everything about our time at the Inn and thank their staff for a wonderful stay!

We were on holiday in the area, just for a couple of nights and were taken by the lovely photos and the location. The hotel is a very traditional house, oozing with character. The lounge and library were very stylish and as it was low season, there was only one other person staying there. We got upgraded to a larger room. We felt we had the whole house to ourselves and since meeting the landlady when we arrived, the other guest and the chef who cooked us breakfast was the only other people we met. Phase 1 of breakfast, with coffee, juice and a sausage roll was brought to the room, and phase 2 was a sit-down service in the dining room / lounge. Lovely place and definitely recommend. Only down side is it's on the side of a main road and whilst quiet in the night, it did get a bit noisy in the morning.
