Amazing experience! Very nice personell! Thanks Loyce with friends! Good location and very nice view. Close to animals but felt completely safe with the masai’s on watch. Authentic safari experience! We heard animals from Ngorongoro crater which added to full experience.

Wir haben eine Nacht in diesem unglaublich schönen und einzigartigen Camp verbracht. Im Nachhinein wären wir sehr gerne länger geblieben. Der Weg hoch ins Camp war schon sehr beeindruckend. Die Natur, die Tiere, die Massaidörfer muss man sich mit seinen eigenen Augen anschauen. Bei Ankunft im Camp am Kraterrand wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Aussicht auf den Krater ist der absolute Wahnsinn. Wir hatten das Glück, dass bei unserer Ankunft ein Regenbogen über uns strahlte. Unbeschreiblich. Das muss man sich selbst ansehen. Das kann man mit Worten nicht erklären . Die Zelte sind super schön. Sehr gemütlich und es ist alles da was man braucht. Die Warmwasserbestellung für die Buckeldusche war genial. Vor dem Essen saßen wir am Campfeuer und die Massai haben uns über ihr Leben berichtet. Und das alles mit einem mega Panamera im Hintergrund. Die Speisen im ‚Restaurant-Zelt‘ waren sehr lecker und die Tische waren wunderschön eingedeckt. Während dem Dinner hat sich eine Herde Büffel ins Camp verirrt. Wir konnten die Tiere von der Terrasse aus beobachten. Wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit sicher gefühlt denn die Massai waren immer vor Ort in unserer Nähe. Die Massai begleiteten uns in der Dunkelheit. Die Überraschung schlecht hin waren die Wärmflaschen in unseren Betten. Die waren so toll und hatten morgens tatsächlich noch eine lauwarme Temperatur. Der Sternenhimmel und die Ruhe in diesem Camp sind der absolute Traum. Ein absolutes Muss wenn man am Krater ist. Mit diesem Personal kann man sich nur wohlfühlen. Weiter so! Wir hoffen auf einen weiteren Besuch in diesem traumhaften Camp.

Esperienza pessima. Il sito internet trae in inganno. Da evitare! La camera non era affatto confortevole perché non aveva l’acqua corrente e nemmeno l’elettricità per caricare il telefono (o altri dispositivi). Non c’era un appendiabiti e nemmeno una mensola su cui appoggiare i vestiti. Il rubinetto della doccia era posizionato sotto il soffione e quindi difficile da raggiungere (se non impossibile per una persona non alta). L'acqua della doccia era troppo calda e non era possibile regolare la temperatura. Il terreno della camera non è in piano ma digradante. Le pareti della tenda non sono ben tirate ne’ ben ancorate al suolo per cui a causa del vento svolazzano e fanno rumore di notte. La sala per la cena e la colazione (l’unico spazio comune al coperto del lodge!) era fredda e buia. La cena è stata servita con un menu fisso, senza alcuna possibilità di scelta (solo 1 zuppa, 1 piatto principale e 1 dolce). La colazione è minima, senza buffet, con scelta quasi inesistente. Il sito web è fuorviante perché non illustra tutte queste gravi limitazioni.

We stayed at Pakulala for 1 night during our 5 night safari and it was the best experience by far! The views of the crater are out of this world. The staff, led my Margaret, are extremely friendly and couldn’t be more helpful! It does get cold in the evening so wrap up for the dining room but it’s cosy in your bed and they put a hot water bottle in and have many blankets. The food and drinks are also a really high standard! Thank you to the Masai who told us interesting stories about their culture. We also had an elephant get really close to camp which was really cool!!! Amazing place - do visit!

We spent a lovely night in Pakulala in our trip through Tanzania. The views of the Ngorongoro crater are simply incredible. Definitely worth experiencing. We spent the evening around the fire hearing Masai stories from our Masai warrior, Merukenya, then we had dinner and a great night sleep hearing animals outside, before we went on a Ngorongoro crater Safari. The staff was very friendly and the food was good too. Would definitely consider coming back. Thanks for everything!

One of the most special experiences I’ve ever had. Rooms were perfect, food was amazing, and the hotel employees were the best and so nice! A true experience mixed with luxury amenities made it a perfect experience on the edge of the Ngorongoro crater. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. I had mentioned I had a gluten intolerance, and they made me gluten free bread and gluten free meals in lunchboxes and for breakfast and dinner! Thank you for everything!
