Perfect Island Getaway – Spacious, Relaxing, and Right on the Water We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Avana Waterfront Apartments. The location is incredible—right on the edge of the lagoon with stunning water views, gentle sea breezes, and the sound of waves to lull you to sleep. The apartments are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxed and easy stay. What really stood out was how peaceful and private it felt, while still being close to everything. The staff were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. This is the perfect place to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy the natural beauty of Rarotonga. Whether you’re a couple, family or group of friends, Avana has something for everyone. Our room was clean, quiet and private with great access to the lagoon, beach and pool. A 2km or 20 minute walk to all the facilities in Muri, we hired a car and could park at our door.

We had a great time staying at Avana Waterfront Apts & would recommend it for sure. We spent a week on the west coast when we first arrived then a week at Aitutaki & then here for our last week. Muri lagoon is a beautiful place to swim, snorkel & if you are lucky like we were, swim with a feeding turtle. We hired a car to get around or you can catch a bus from the end of the road, or walk the 1.3km into the restaurant cafe area in Muri. The studio units are spacious & well appointed with everything you need. I’d definitely stay here again.

Facilities were great with all you need to self cater. Pool was lovely and proximity to the beach a highlight. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The scenery is stunning, and the accommodation is excellent. The staff are especially warm and attentive, making the stay very enjoyable. The only downside is that the air conditioning doesn’t cool properly, making the room quite hot. If this could be improved, the experience would be perfect.

Loved staying here! Desiree and team are so generous and hospitable. Really enjoyed the amenities provided and the free activities such as snorkelling, kayaking and my personal favourite, the coconut husking station! Had the best time, will be back if visiting again. 😁

Sehr schönes Appartement mit viel Platz und großer Terrasse. Hatten App. im Parterre. Sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Herrliche Aussicht auf die Bucht. Komfortable Betten. Bei Ankunft alles was es für Frühstück am anderen Tag braucht vorhanden, inklusive Yaourt und Milch. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft gerne weiter.
