There is a very good pizza restaurant nearby with moderate prices and good taste. There is also a large supermarket, which is very convenient for replenishing supplies. The price of breakfast is a bit high.

I wasn’t expecting much from a 3* off the beaten track but Maun Lodge really impressed me. The staff were great… helpful, friendly and professional. Free airport transfers which arrived at a time convenient to me. The room was basic but cared for with everything you might need. Bed was comfortable enough and linen was clean. Towels needed an upgrade but useable. Toiletries were as you would expect in a 3 star but the shower was great. Lovely views from the seating outside the room and as a solo female traveler, I felt safe. The restaurant was definitely the highlight. A combination of local and western choices with something for everyone’s taste. Freshly cooked and tasty. Exceptional value for money and definitely worth a stay if in the area.
