We stayed here for one night before leaving for safari. Our room, in the "garden" area of the hotel was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we were unable to use the pool area during the day due to a very noisy children's party which was taking place both by the pool and in the grounds, thankfully it finished at 1800. This was not ideal as we were looking forward to a relaxing afternoon by the pool. The patio area is very pleasant and the bistro style meals (burgers, pizza, pasta etc.) were good. The breakfast was very enjoyable. For info - we didn't see a river! A good rather than average stay but could have been great without the party!!

Lovely room with everything we could want. We had been camping so enjoyed the upgrade and while the pool looked really nice we enjoyed coffee and tea in our airconditioned room. The shower was really good and the beds comfortable, staff were helpful and friendly.

- nette, hilfsbereite Angestellte
- Zimmer und Dusche schön groß
- hatte ein Zimmer etwas weiter weg vom Hauptgebäude, was wir gut fanden
- Essen (Abendbrot sehr lecker) und günstig
- Frühstück gute Auswahl und extra zum Bestellen wieder Omelette etc. möglich
- Parkplatz bei unserem Zimmer fast direkt vor der Tür
- negativ: nachts die Lautstärke, wollten schlafen, aber gegenüber scheint eine Bar o.Ä. zu sein, da lief dann relativ lange noch lautere Musik

Für uns war das Sedia-Hotel der perfekte Stop-Over in Maun. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Hotels und Lodges in Maun ohne überzogene Preisvorstellung. Unser Zimmer war zwar einfach, aber Sauber und Modern. Toll ist auch der tolle, große Pool. Essen im Restaurant (auch tolle vegetarische Optionen) hat uns gut geschmeckt. Frühstück mit guter auswahl. Kleine Kritikpunkte: die Zimmer sind recht hellhörig. Außerdem fanden wir es etwas störend, dass man während dem Abendessen noch Menschen mit wenig appetitlichem äußerem im Pool beim baden zu sehen mussten (mit den Bierflaschen im Wasser)

Es wäre jetzt dem Hotel gegenüber unfair eine sehr schlechte Bewertung zu geben, nur weil die Dame an der Rezeption stur war. Wir hatten im Vorfeld ausdrücklich Doppelbett gebucht und nicht zwei einzelne Betten. Als Erste unserer Gruppe an der Rezeption angekommen, betonten wir und unser Guide das nochmals. Trotzdem teilte sie uns ein Zimmer mit zwei getrennten Betten zu. Mehrere aus unserer Gruppe hatten ein Doppelbett bekommen, obwohl sie nicht danach gefragt hatten. Die Dame war einfach zu faul, die von ihr vorher getroffene Einteilung, zu ändern. Das erste Schwimmbad, dass wir sehen, das nicht grün ist, Zimmer groß und sauber. Frühstück gut . Ein Punkt Abzug wegen der Rezeption.
