Evolve Back Kalahari

Stunning resort close to the Kalahari Central Park with highly solicitous staff who greeted our arrival with beautiful song and took care of every need with great warmth and a sense of hospitality! We enjoyed a beautiful dinner in the boma whilst the staff once again demonstrated their incredible singing skills.... they should get into the music business!

Our three day adventure at Evolve Back Kalahari is unforgettable. The accomodation is luxurious and comfortable, the meals and sundowners are delicious and very entertaining. The guests are being taken care of concerning any possible wish in a very professional way. The game drives are pleasant, informative and everyone is working hard to fulfil expectations and dreams. Incredible place to stay . Very attentive staff with great food and drink on offer . Beautiful rooms including an open air sleeping platform. Thelma is an excellent manager and great company . Great game drives in the Kalahari with Zizie and Xame spotting wildlife and stargazing . Beautiful landscapes and sunsets. A truly unique experience.

Our guide Freeman and our tracker George were next level excellent. Freeman is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge and George can track anything that moves. The service was simply way and beyond the call of duty and the food was amazing. The accommodation was the best I’ve ever experienced. We had to work hard to find lots of game but that’s actually the fun part. George was fantastic at locating animals in the most desolate of places. Great, great experience and highly recommended. Thelma and her staff were wonderful - nothing was too much trouble. Going back for sure.

It is difficult to summarise the excellence of the 2-day experience at Evolve Back Kalahari. Its two accommodation options, the classic tents (somewhat cheaper), or its fascinating skybeds, which allow you to sleep in a luxurious tent with every detail, or in the elevated annex with the Kalahari sky as your protection, give you the option of choosing what best suits your budget. And with both options you will enjoy excellence during your stay: a staff attentive at all times to your slightest need. A spectacular pool in which to cool off in the central hours of the day. A delicate cuisine, worthy of any high-end restaurant. A perfectly coordinated and professional work team so that nothing goes wrong, with of course special mention to the manager who coordinates them, Thelma Wame, following the protocols of the prestigious company Evolve Back. And all this would be minimised without the excellent safari experience offered by the Kalahari in Botswana. From the common area, you hardly need to get into the safari car, with the constant transit of all species to drink from the perfectly located waterhole in front, an effort for conservation: zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, kudus, impalas, hyenas at night... A safari experience that is rounded off by the expert guide and tracker who took us to explore and show us some of the many secrets of the Kalahari, wrongly called a desert, due to the great abundance of life of all kinds (birds, mammals, reptiles, plants...) adapted to this harsh habitat characterized by the scarcity of water. Here, special mention and thanks to Zizie, our guide for his incredible array of knowledge that he did not hesitate to share, and Xama, our tracker, an open book about the land where his tribe has survived for hundreds of years by understanding and respecting it.
