Xakanaka Mobile Camp

let’s start from the negative - the name is totally misleading; we thought we were booking Camp Xakanaka which is a beautiful lodge in the Okavango delta where instead from Camp Xakanaka Mobile we ended receiving a mobile tents tour from Temogosafari that did not even ever stopped in Xakanaka…I believe ******* should ensure better information; for a mobile tour they are not so cheap either. Having said this, it has been an exciting experience, Charles and Prince from Temogosafari have been very good and attentive guides. They tried hard to make us seeing rare and beautiful animals. The tour was very interesting: Chobe-Savuti-Kwai-Maun. Albeit you end up sleeping in pretty wild spots, hearing lions roaring not too far away and elephants just eating near the tents at night, you feel pretty safe albeit out of your comfort zone. Service was very good and Prince even cooked excellent (“al dente”) Italian spaghetti the last night. One remark the mattresses at night are really too thin.
