Castle Inn

We had a warm welcome. Room was clean all amenities included Iron hairdryer. The service was excellent Helen cooked us a lovey breakfast every morning. Helen recommended a river walk which we really enjoyed. Tea and coffee supplied as much as we wanted. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely use it again. Lovely countryside views and a good bar.

I visited the bar area with a few friends on a brief holiday in Northern Ireland and called in randomly. This place scores 100% for the staff. It’s an ordinary enough local pub for its decor and there was a large group of local lads enjoying themselves. The welcome we received was outstanding. The lads who were sitting at the best table left for the bar so we could sit there. They clearly understood that strangers are “guests” I bought a couple of rounds at the bar and when I came back to the table there were 4 plates of perfect sausage and chips, complimentary!! The barman was super friendly and he serves beautiful Guinness. I ordered another round and gave him a small tip. 10 minutes later a round of complimentary drinks!! When I go back to Northern Ireland I will definitely revisit. Highly recommended if you want an afternoon of genuine hospitality in a real Irish pub.
