Good very

Booked a last minute one night stay, upon arrival staff were friendly. We went to the spa for 1hr but very disappointed, not many facilities, broken tiles, grubby, n noise scheming cubicles (had to use the toilet), restaurant was nice, enjoyed our meal but no atmosphere & service was a bit slow. Went to the bar after for a couple of drinks, again no atmosphere (until the singer), service dreadful, ordered a cocktail, waited 30 mins and it wasn’t made right, had to take it back, waited about 20 mins and no sign of the cocktail, told them to forget it and give me a cider. Disappointing, honestly expected better from this hotel

On arrival we had to wait for over 10 minutes as reception was unattended. We watched no less than three sets of guests arrive at reception to leave with no help or assistance. We approached a member of waiting staff in the Bistro and she went to get us help! Our room was a Deluxe room, not sure it was Deluxe. The room is very dated and there was a musty smell I think maybe coming from the carpet. Bath had a crack in it, tiling needs replaced and the bath would be very difficult for those challenged with slight mobility with only a safety rail on the inside of the bath. Fridge not working so maybe should be replaced or removed. The carpets in public areas need to have a good clean especially in the corridors leading to rooms. We were seated at a table that had been reset by staff only to find a dirty mark in the middle of the table. This was observed by the young man who seated us and he promptly cleaned it only for us to find two extra tea stains on the other side of the table. The breakfast layout looks tired. Toasting area very untidy. Juice Bar in the bar area! Breakfast was ok. Soda bread overdone! The carpet in the dining room is awful needs a good clean, especially the area between the dining room and the buffet area. We observed two members of staff cleaning other tables we over five squirts of cleaning product which I felt was excessive. Hotel is looking tired and could do with a freshing up. Sad to say we won’t be returning! One thing we did appreciate was the very warm friendly welcome we received this morning from Issac at breakfast.

We come every year for anniversary this year I was a bit disappointed in the room I booked deluxe and there was a loud rumbling noise all night and the mattress was so soft I slept in the chair. my husband could barley walk the next day he was so sore from sleeping on it. Apart from the room everything else was perfect the food in restaurant was delicious, staff were very friendly and helpful location is gorgeous we will be back but I'll be booking our usual standard room it was cheaper and far nicer.

Would like to thank all the staff for making our stay an enjoyable one and for being so accommodating we do appreciate everything. Would highly recommend a stay here staff are great the foods lovely and the spa and pool are great way to relax

5 stars all around for this hotel everything was amazing from the room to the amazing surroundings the fitness club was amazing had an amazing time in the pool jacuzzi and steam rooms all the staff were very accommodating and friendly the food was amazing especially the breakfast the room was comfy and cosy all around the atmosphere was great we really enjoyed the late night entertainment and the walks around the hotel are amazing 5 stars would definitely recommend and will definitely be back amazing hotel and atmosphere very cosy 5 stars and more.
