Corr's Corner Hotel

My girlfriend and I had a lovely night stay, bed was comfy, room was clean and the food was great!

Lunch with two friends today. I've given Corrs very good reviews before on here but have to balance it by today's experience. The food was OK, we had a sharing platter with several side dishes, the ribs were a tad dry, but ok. My friends had desserts and I asked for an Americano which didn't arrive till id reminded the waitress. What made me give this an average rating was when we'd finished our meal and were sitting chatting, the waiter interrupted us making it quite clear it was time we were leaving, said in a slightly joking manner but my friend said gosh that's not so subtle is it! We weren't ready to leave and as there were many empty tables we were not taking up space someone else could have used. Anyway, deep in conversation the waiter came again, interrupting something quite serious and started joking that I hadn't finished my drink and my friend bee last spoonful of dessert. So obvious it was drink up and leave please. He was accompanied by a middle aged waitress who trilled "oh he's awful" but the way to deal with that instead of being passive aggressive would have been to say politely, ladies I hope you've enjoyed your meal, would you like your bill now? Training needed here. Before the second time we were approached we'd thrown a fiver in each but after this it was removed and the bill paid. Don't like to passively aggressively be told to finish up, the joking manner did not negate it and we will go where we feel welcome in future!

We had a truly wonderful evening at Corr’s Corner Hotel Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and served in very generous portions. I had the mixed grill, which was spot-on, and my wife had the Chicken Maryland — she said it was just as tasty and well-cooked. But what really made our evening special was our waiter, Stephen. He was thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely warm throughout the night. His charisma and professionalism brought a great energy to the atmosphere, and it’s clear he takes real pride in his work. He’s an absolute credit to Corr’s Corner. We’ve been to this restaurant a number of times before, but Stephen made tonight stand out — and that’s why we felt it was the perfect night to finally leave a review. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

Excellent excellent excellent can not find a fault as have been a guest for years now the staff are so friendly and helpful

Staff were excellent, very helpful and courteous. Rooms were large with a double and single bed. Most comfortable bed I've ever had in a hotel. It has a delightful restaurant as well as a bar which has an extensive menu at reasonable prices. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel lobby has several areas with comfortable chairs to relax in. Will definitely go back there.

I recently went to Corrs and had a really pleasant experience overall. One night, I decided to check out the bar and grill, and I’m glad I did. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The bartender, Conor, was fantastic—really attentive without being overbearing, and he seemed to know just the right things to recommend. The drinks were well made and the menu had a good variety. Definitely a great spot to relax, and I’ll be sure to stop by again next time I’m in town. Highly recommend if you want a laid-back evening with solid service.
