Was very pleased food drink was superb hotel and room as spotless can't complain

Lovely hotel with great facilities. Friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

The executive suite was lovely - modern and spacious. No fridge and the bathroom fan goes all night. With the door shut it still sounds like you’re on an aeroplane. There is also a very bright green light on all night which we were told was a fire safety light. The swimming pool area was excellent and well equipped. We liked that the sauna, steam room and hot tub was partitioned from the pool area and only for adults. It was modern and everything worked. The restaurant had a good atmosphere and staff were friendly. Good varied menu. There was an issue with one meal and it was very quickly dealt with in a friendly manner as you’d expect. Breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately we learned on check out we could only use the pool between 3pm and 11am. Each time we said something we were told it was in the terms and conditions. You also need a physical credit card as a pre-payment when you check in. I spoke to the manager on departure about the disappointments we’d encountered as I would not write a review without doing this and giving a chance to remedy. His attitude was poor and he didn’t deviate from the clear script. We have frequent mini breaks and we feel this hotel fell short for the price paid. Unfortunately we’ll not be back. Disappointing for what should be an excellent hotel.

We had a birthday party for my Grampa on Sunday in the Windsor Suite in the hotel. Everything about the experience from phoning to enquire to leaving at the end of the party was absolutely brilliant. The hotel is stunning in itself, the room was lovely (and had air-conditioning, this was very much needed!), the food was stunning and a huge, special mention to Stuart and Jack who were working were unbelievable, so caring, so personal and made everything on the day perfect! Big shout out to Jennifer who organised it all for us and kept in contact the whole time. If you're looking for a venue for a special event then this is ideal! We will be back. This is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. If you’re visiting Glasgow or surrounding area we would definitely recommend staying here. It has great transport links into the city. The leisure facilities are outstanding, the rooms beautifully furnished and great freshly cooked food is served. But what really makes it different are the staff - everyone we met made us feel special and we felt like valued customers and friends. Nothing was too much effort - special thanks to Frazer and Angela who looked after us when we returned late after a concert.

Absolutely unbelievable stay really enjoyed it due to the members of staff, especially the nightporter didn’t manage to catch her name but made our stay so special and was extra helpful 10/10 customer service and will return for another stay again soon the only downside is our shower kept flooding, but all staff were very helpful to try resolve it once again thank you for the amazing service ❤️
