Comfort Inn Newport News - Hampton I-64

Hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious, bathrooms are very clean, hotel is well maintained. Staff is very polite and friendly. Breakfast was great, waffles and omelets, cereal, 3 kinds of juices. Stayed for 3 days and definitely will stay again.

Very good experience for a moderate price hotel. Check-in was easy, room was very clean, staff was pleasant. Nice large TV, comfortable bed. I didn’t get to sample the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. It was worth the money and I would definitely stay here again.

A couple of notes - the Comfort Inn does not have any control over this cause the hotel was built where it was built. I recommend not getting a room on the side facing the Interstate. Also, 1st floor on the front can be very noisy because there is a lot of vehicle and customer traffic. If I go back there again I will ask for a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor on the South/East wing - facing the shopping center. Breakfast was good. Real eggs and bacon. Biscuits and gravy. Only complaint is that the coffee was no good. Friendly and helpful workers.

Staff was friendly, beds comfortable and prices affordable! I travel a lot and Thomas was the nicest front desk clerk I have ever met! The other employees were also very pleasant! I love that they had lemon water available all day to guests. Convenient location also!

This hotel was very nice, it had its quirks; we had to kill a spider on the wall, the curtains had a few holes and there were enough plugs for charging phones, etc. Overall we had a good stay, fresh towels were delivered and customer service was pleasant!

The hotel was convenient and the amenities were fabulous both in the room and at breakfast. The hotel is actually adjacent to the Patrick Henry mall. Restaurants, convenience stores and gas station are very close by. We had great control of the air conditioner in room too.

This place is amazing with great pricing the place is clean the staff are wonderful . Free complimentary breakfast and the breakfast lady is awesome. The staff is so accommodating that’s the main thing I like !! I had no issues during my stay and I will be back soon

I’ve stayed in a lot of motels in my lifetime. When I stayed here, your staff was extremely pleasant . One of them came out to feed the ducks in the morning. It was awesome. Breakfast was great. The lady serving the breakfast keeping track of everything was so happy to be doing her job and making everyone feel happy. Her smile was infectious. Will most definitely use your place from now. I was not happy at the last place I stayed at. That’s what I get for not staying at Comfort Inn.

I live in the area but I needed some alone time to get away from home and work. This hotel is in a great location. Right off of the interstate and next to a mall and other food options. The room was roomy and clean with a queen sized bed, sofa, and desk. The bathroom was a little small but it has a huge walk-in shower and more than enough counter space by the sink. I can't remember what brand but there was complimentary shampoo and conditioner in the shower and lotion on the sink. There were more than enough towels and toilet paper. Breakfast was great. I made the mistake of thinking breakfast was at 6am. When I went downstairs the night clerk said breakfast wasn't until 630am but since she had already prepared and laid everything out I could go ahead and grab something. I can't remember her name but I think it starts with the letter D. She didn't have to do that but I'm glad she did. Thank you. I was able to park in the back and keep an eye on my car which was right outside my third floor room. I didn't use the pool but I could see it outside and there were people in it. My only complaints were the lights shining in the window but that was due to the a/c being below the curtains. Every time it came on it blew the curtains open. Also, the elevator was slow going up and down so I took the stairs. The stairway has an old sour smell and the carpet should be cleaned or replaced. Other than that I loved staying here and will definitely book again.
