Hampton Inn and Suites Newport/Cincinnati

Excellent visit. Breakfast was amazing!!

Hotel was really nice but our trash was not taken out when we got there. It had beer cans and stuff in it. Luckily we stepped out our room and there was housekeeping who let us dump it out! Otherwise room was good. Pool was very cold.. It is winter and I expect for the pool area to be a little warmer in the winter! Just warming that water a little bit really could have added to the experience. Staff was very helpful but also saw a couple employees in not professional outfits (PJ’s). Breakfast was ok. There were few options but only meat available was ham and who really wants ham! Price paid was low enough to over look these things but also there is room for improvement! It is a great hotel next to the aquarium and really should be stepping up the game!

The front desk manager(I believe) was completely rude for no reason. Came to check in at 3:30 and was told our room wouldn’t be ready for 30 min which was fine. He told the lady before the same and she asked to switch rooms and was granted her request. I then made the same request to which he rudely said, you don’t get that option. I just told you it’s not ready you need to wait. I told him he didn’t need to be rude and he laughed at me. This dude needs some serious training and to pull the wedgie out his dungarees. Kevin, you suck.

Pool

Heather checked us in and was very helpful. It was a convenient location on our way through Ohio. Will be staying there again.

Nice place to stay, pleasant walk across bridge to stadium, staff plenty friendly
