The hotel service is very friendly. You can ask them for slippers. It feels very friendly and comfortable! When we opened the door, there was a cute little horse doll on the bed, which immediately caught our attention. My daughter drew one and bought another one for 25 pounds when she left the store. She liked it very much!

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel Booked in Feb for August Was put in room 10 which has the worst outlook in the hotel Looked out on the fire escape and an upside down bucket Very disappointed but receptionist was quite rude at check in and decided it would be pointless raising the issue Paid £235 for this room and quite honestly would not return again now

All the staff were friendly and helpful. . Hotel and grounds beautiful. Beds and pillows so comfy and food excellent. But our room needed updating, there are few sockets and none near the beds for overnight charging. The bath plug came apart in my hands and we had to call Reception to send help in letting out the bath water. Very difficult to reach beyond the shower screen to reach plug mechanics. The coffee jug only held one mug - for 2 it had to be washed out and start again. Only 3 sachets of coffee (for two people ) one only was decaf. One lift on floor 2 out of order leaving only one (very small) - is this adequate? Finally, a hairbrush found under a chair from previous occupants. All small points but disappointing for such a hotel.

stayed on sunday 23rd June check in was very quick room was lovely we had a view of stables next door perfect for me.. used pool and steam room etc very good although jacuzzi out of action next day...have to say it's the best hotel breakfast I've ever had drinks a bit pricey but that's the norm in most hotels we will definitely be returning..

Stayed here for a business trip in may. A colleague and myself had a room each. It was very hot weather so we took the time to sit outside with drinks which was lovely. Everyone was in their summer attire so it seemed strange that the radiators in reception were boiling hot. Must have money to burn, literally We didn’t have time to use the spa facilities. Check in and out was easy, food at the main restaurant was lovely. Rooms were spotless. There was a lovely teddy bear in my room but sadly it was only a tease as you had to buy it. There were also complimentary chocolates. If ever working a trade show at new market racecourse again I would love to return

We stayed for one night for my daughter’s birthday. The whole experience was excellent! The staff were so friendly and had such good customer service. They really couldn’t do enough for you and I think that’s hard to find ! The room was clean and very quiet. We used the pool and facilities. These were clean and well kept. The breakfast was AMAZING! The best we have ever had. So tasty, good quality and plenty of choice. We will definitely return to the hotel and I have recommended it to everyone I know

would just like say thank you for the lovely stay we had at Bedford Lodge on Friday 30th, ahead of my daughter’s wedding. A special mention is reserved for Kieran on reception, who went above and beyond helping us with our luggage and generally being very kind and helpful. He is an asset to the hotel. Not forgetting the restaurant staff who coped magnificently with so many of family and friends eating there that evening.

This was our second visit for Sunday lunch after eating outside on the terrace last summer with the same friends. The food was outstanding: the heritage tomatoes, yellow pepper gazpacho and cured salmon were all sublime. The beef, pork and pigeon were all excellent. The only niggles were the absence of either draught bitter [run out] and the green vegetables [beans, sugar snap peas and broccoli] were all slightly undercooked. The service was superb and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend The Bedford Lodge for a meal.
