Our recent stay at Hotel Postmark was disappointing. We had booked for five nights but checked out two nights early due to several issues that made our stay uncomfortable.
On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful, the restaurant offered delicious food, and the neighborhood was cozy and inviting.
However, the negatives overshadowed the positives. The washroom door was incredibly noisy, waking us up whenever it was used at night, making sleep difficult. Upon check-in, we found used toilet paper in the room, which was unhygienic and left a bad impression. The pillows and mattress were very uncomfortable, and overall, the room lacked the comfort needed for a pleasant stay.
Additionally, we had issues with the air conditioning and heating system. The controller didn’t work properly, and the heater failed for two nights. Although staff kindly resolved the problem, it was inconvenient.
The lack of soundproofing was another major problem. We could hear constant noise from neighboring rooms and upstairs, which was particularly disruptive during a busy period. Parking was also an issue, as the hotel didn’t have enough spots. After the first night, we had to park offsite, which was inconvenient.
This was our second time staying here, and while our first visit during a quieter time was decent, this stay was frustrating. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel during peak times unless major improvements are made.
