Premier Inn Glasgow (Motherwell)

Came here on business as my usual hotel was fully booked. I use to always say you can relay on a premier inn but this is a real let down. The room is in massive need of an upgrade. There is nowhere to charge your phone on the bedside table, very poor lighting, the bathroom fan stayed on ALL night even though the light was off and the heated towel rail which had warnings about how hot it got didn’t work. It’s like it’s been left in the 1980’s. The bathroom was dyer and looked grubby again in massive need of a refresh - won’t be back here in a hurry

The bed was extremely hard, the bedlinen stained. No where to charge your phone beside the bed only at the dressing table are. The entrance to the hotel was very dark and to be honest not welcoming at all. Hallway dark although this did get a bit brighter the longer the light stayed on. If you are a lady travelling on your own then I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. I have used a few PI now and this is by far the worst. I didn’t feel safe sadly.

This is a return business trip. I work away a lot and stay in many hotels. I return here time and time again and if in this area this is my first choice of hotel. The hotel is in a great location. Rooms are kept spotless clean. Staff are friendly, professional and go that extra mile. 10/10 for customer service. Would like to especially thank Mark McGrady who is in the maintenance team. I unfortunately in a car crash on yesterday. Today while waiting for car recovery and faced with a car jam packed (mobile office) umboxing and preparing for over 10 trips up and down stairs with contents. Without asking for any help I literally turned round and Mark was there on hand and had already started to help move the boxes. I was stressed out and daunted at the job in hand and situation. Mark helped me out, calmed me down and I cannot thank him enough for the help be gave. His kindness and compassion are a true credit to the Premier Inn Motherwell. They should think themselves lucky to have men like Mark representing their hotel. I don't write reviews but do not want this to go unrecognised. Thank you Mark, you're a star!!!

It's a Nice Hotel, worth the money. The additional bed that they provided was really good for the kids, and you will get plenty of parking as well as a charging station if you have an EV.

Stopped here to break up my journey to Edinburgh airport. Good price and convenient. Breakfast was a good start to our day. Rooms were clean but old and tired. Main issue was the terrible internet so if staying for business would be a problem but we coped with our for our one night. Staff very friendly

I had a fantastic stay at Newhouse Premier Inn, Motherwell. The staff was respectful and helpful. They maintained professionalism at all levels. Thank you to the guy at the reception on Sunday, the 18th. He was accommodating and humble. Food at the Beefeaters was delicious though the lady who served me breakfast on Monday the 19th was not good. She showed some symptoms of demeaning or degrading me but l ignored her attitude as the overall experience was more pleasing than her attitude towards me.
