OK for a stop over stay

Very nice and friendly place. The staff are very helpful and provide a lot of information and support.

In DESPERATE need of an FULL update/upgrade. It's probably as clean as it should be but everything is a bit shabby and worn out... plumbing, heating, carpets skirting etc so it looks dirty. I smelled **** it as I came in (it wasn't the staff). Some workmen (guests) were cautioning other guests with vans that theirs had been just been broken into, in view of CCTV and beneath lighting implying that the the thieves were not deterred by either (read previous posts). I have stayed here before but will probably look for a different Premier Inn next time. I didn't feel particularly safe and was not conviced that my car would still be there in the morning. In short falls below Premier Inn's usual standard. The staff were friendly.

You know what you’re getting when you book a Premier Inn. The facilities are basic but clean and familiar and the beds provided excellent nights’ sleep. But the staff were above-and-beyond, especially on reception. Has become our go-to hotel when visiting family.

We booked rooms in advance for a family wedding, because the bride was staying the night before her wedding we checked with the manager before booking that it would be ok to have hair dressers and makeup artists in and out to prepare everyone and we were reassured that this wouldn't be a problem. During the stay the staff went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was looked after, they were brilliant. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We are a couple. We stayed in a double room for one night to attend a friends birthday party. It was perfect for getting to Newhey Lodge. You could walk in 10 minutes. PROs Warm and friendly welcome Newly decorated and furnished room Comfy bed Quiet location Close to M62 CONs Not all of the rooms and areas have been refurbished yet so could have been a different review if we had a tired room.

I usually stay in hotels but needed something close to Shaw (visiting). The whole experience was a joy, the reception staff, the immaculately clean room, lovely fresh bedding & towels, the great food and staff at the John Milne restaurant next door, a stones throw from the motorway, plenty of secure parking, a peaceful area and not least of all a great undisturbed sleep! Would highly recommend & won’t hesitate to use Premier Inns again, especially the Rochdale one! Well done staff ❤️ 10/10!!

Staying here was a massive mistake. Saw recent reviews and one red flag saying van was broken into and unfortunately we found out the truth the hard way. Van broken into and we found out 2 was broken into the week before. CCTV not working properly so seems it’s a free for all for van thefts. Tradesmen and contractors stay well clear !!!!!!
