Stayed whilst moving daughter in for university lovely one bed apartment. With a separate lounge and cooking /fridge etc. very nice . You eat breakfast next door at holiday inn breakfast superb. We really enjoyed the convenience and location ideal for us . Will definitely be back .

This was our third short break in a marvellous city. We knew Jesmond from previous visits & wanted to stay there again - but with a change of accommodation. Self-catering aparthotels suit us, so we booked 91. Poppy at Reception found us a ground floor apartment (I have seriously impaired mobility) and when we were asked to move to a smaller one on day two duty manager James solved the unforeseen glitch that occurred with admirable courtesy and composure. Moreover, when, home again, my wife Gill discovered that she had left a new pair of strides in the original apartment a phone call to James brought results. The vibe was of a committed staff who are willing to go the extra mile. So thanks to them.

It was so easy to find it, parking in the holiday inn, then go to reception to pick up keys. It is very secure, having to put in a code for the door to open. Not sure if there is a lift, we were in the top floor, so if you struggle walking etc, need a ground floor apartment. The apartment was lovely, with a welcome pack and freebies in the bathroom. The only thing I would say is THE PILLOWS! You need new ones 😯 But I will be back as my daughter is going to Northumbria Uni 😁

We were due to stay here for an event on the 5th & 6th August 2023. The stay was pay at the property. Unfortunately on route to the hotel (a 2 hour journey) we received confirmation that our event had been cancelled at VERY short notice. Appreciate that this is not the fault of the hotel, however we thought it necessary to get in touch & see if there was any options at all for us as we didn't need to stay at the accommodation any longer. We got no response via the telephone, no response via email, no response via Facebook messenger. We tried the option to change the dates to different dates but we never got a response from this request either. We appreciate that there may have been nothing the hotel could have done & we may have still incurred the total cost, however to completely ignore all of our attempts to get in touch is totally unproffesional and not to mention downright rude. We suffered the £350 cost for a hotel that we didn't step foot in, or get to talk to. Even now 2 months later I have tried to get in touch with no luck. Will never stay here again.

The older reviews here are way off. This is not a bad place to stay at all. The apartments are two houses attached to the Holiday Inn that have been converted to a high standard. I stayed in London for a couple of nights and around 50 quid per night and I was very impressed. The apartments have a small kitchen with a sink, dishwasher and microwave toaster kettle, etc nice bathroom with rainfall shower and a comfortable double bed. The only issue I encountered was that the desk seemed to be broken. When is staying in a hotel? I make sure that the bed is comfortable. The shower is good, and both of these are absolutely fine. I do not think you can beat this for the value, so we definitely recommend people stay here

The customer service is extremely poor I phoned four times in the same day to confirm my booking with booking .com after repeating my booking details spelling out my name four times each phone call the front of house staff confirmed they couldn't find my booking and tried to sell us a more expensive room .the hotel room was dirty and had food stuck behind the headboard .needs a revamp definitely for the customer service and cleanliness in general.staff were rude and not trained correctly or even had been trained by anybody.

AMAZING place to stay!! Definitely cannot recommend this place enough. The apartment had everything you could want and more. Close by to the train, near the city centre. Everything was just perfect, staff great and service will absolutely brilliant

Superb! These apartments are attached to the Holiday Inn Hotel next door so you have all the amenities that the hotel offers but have the luxury of your own Appartment and more space. Particularly ideal for families. The front of house manager on the morning we were checking in ( Thu 21 July) was so helpful and kind as our sons graduation was at 3.30 so appreciated we were keen to check in ASAP and let us know immediately our room was free for a slightly earlier check in at 2pm. Staff went above and beyond to ensure you have a happy stay. Apartment is spacious and the basket of teas, coffees, biscuits, water etc is very appreciated.Small kitchen is ideal for longer stays. Can’t fault the place and now our son is to be working in Newcastle we’ll be back!
