We stayed at the Palm Garden Hotel three nights and enjoyed our time there. The check-in was easy, and the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable.
We didn't get into the pool but enjoyed sitting in the sun and later sitting by a fire in the outdoor lounge area. I loved the access to hot water so I could enjoy my mushroom coffee and my husband grabbed a cup of coffee to go from the lobby each morning.
The only thing I can think of that was between average and good was the breakfast each morning. There was plenty of food available, but fresh fruit and a variety of options beside bagels and sourdough bread would have been nice. All in all, it probably deserves at least 4.5 stars.

It is not suitable for business travelers. It is more of a resort hotel and the sound insulation is not very good. The hotel has been renovated, so the rooms are quite new. There is a shopping area opposite which is very convenient.

This hotel is relatively good, but the room price difference between weekends and weekdays is too big. It is recommended to plan in advance and book in advance, so that the price is relatively cheaper.

We were booked at this motel under a large group booking for a team sporting event in the area. I was very hesitant to stay but had a good rate of only 99.00 a night. Although I found afterwards that many hotels in this area are very affordable and MUCH nicer for the $. Anyhow, we stayed and found the accommodations to be okay the first couple of days, and then a HUGE group came in and took over the place. There were people everywhere! They apparently like to book this place out to large groups. I think most individuals wouldn't ever choose to stay here on their own, it's really more of a group discount motor lodge. We had ants in our room and had to hide food etc. The outdoor corridors and overall appearance felt like a motor lodge more than a motel. The pool was nice but they never had any towels out or any other accomodations...it was very self serve, bring your own stuff...like a Motel 6. I would suggest staying ANYWHERE other than here if you're traveling alone without a large group. If you're traveling here in a large group you'll probably be stuck here...but the free breakfast is okay. The management was also not very informed and kept losing my group name whom I was traveling with when I booked the reservation and even upon check in. The internal communication at this motel is TERRIBLE...so just beware of the rate they quote you, that it is the actual rate they end up charging you. There were some people booked under our group who were charged a lot more (159 night!)! Overall, Don't stay here unless you have to!
