Check in was seamless and really quick. Room was SPOTLESS and so comfortable. Staff were all so lovely. Breakfast was perfectly tasty and a great selection despite us being down as breakfast was ending. The grounds are so, so beautiful it looks like the ideal spot for a family occasion or wedding Only slight negative was the shower power isn't great and caution is needed getting out of the bath, perhaps another handrail would be of benefit

Nice hotel, room was lovely, staff were so nice and couldn't do enough for you, the only fault was the clearly out dated cutlery in the breakfast dining room

Just back from a visit to this hotel. Very impressive as you walk in & rooms were also very clean with nice decor. The only thing I would think needs changing are the very heavy duvets on the beds especially when the rooms do not have aircon. We were girl friends visiting so we did use the leisure centre but were disappointed that there was no shower gel/shampoo in the showers so not nice trying to shower with just water. We had lovely food in saddlers bar in the evening & all the staff we encountered during our stay were very friendly. But here is where the hotel was a big let down for our party it was the breakfast. We arrived at 9am for breakfast & there seemed to be only 2 girls on with no breakfast manager in sight. Had to wait for 10 minutes for bowls for cereal & then practically all the hot food was gone & took ages for a little extra to be replaced but was cold anyway so we left it there. Most of the fresh fruit was also gone & again ages before it was replenished. So basically we ended up having tea coffee & toast, not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Totally understaffed in the breakfast room. For this reason I don’t think we will return.

This hotel is lovely, but unfortunately we encountered a few flaws, we are a family of 4, 2 adults 2kids, we had a fine size room with a double, single and a pull out bed, the pull out bed was an absolute disaster and so dangerous, my daughter couldn’t even lay on it and when she did her head kept on sliding under the couch bit, it was a real hazard, when mentioned the next morning to reception they changed our room thankfully, we had paid a lot to stay here and we were disappointed that this was our first night. We ate in Saddlers bar on our second night and they were either understaffed or just something was missing, service was so slow and we ordered food and drinks at the same time, no extravagant dinks just run of the mill but our drinks arrived when we were finished our food, we had to call the staff twice to remind them, the hotel was busy and they had a lovely bbq evening going on but it just felt that those guests were being prioritised, I was excited to stay here after reading past reviews but came away a bit disappointed

Just returned from an overnight stay to celebrate a special anniversary The hotel has a beautiful old world charm . The gardens are beautiful and the Terraces that overlook them are the ideal place to have a drink or some food. A big thank you to Catherine who looked after us so well and also to the Manager on the day i think her name was Linda

Stayed at the Keadeen Hotel as we were attending a concert during the night of our stay. The room was in very clean condition, staff were friendly and breakfast was amazing - there were plenty of options and the food was fresh. Beautiful property and a great concert venue!

This was our first time at Keadeen Hotel, and it exceeded all our expectations. On arrival, we were informed we were in "The Suite," which was unexpected. We only stayed the one night as part of a round Ireland trip. The Suite was very large set of rooms; ensuite dressing room, lounge, dinning room, large bedroom with four poster bed and the largest bathroom I have seen in a hotel; double walk in shower, double sink and slipper bath. We didn't want to leave. The food in the restaurant was wholesome and reasonably priced. Breakfast was standard but efficient and friendly staff made it more. We will be back.

Stayed here on a wedding anniversary having been here for my wedding 40 years before. The greeting at reception was perfunctory and I was given my key and vague directions as to how to get to the room. No explanation of facilities or evn a query about my journey. The room was large and comfortable but the TV had about 4 channels that worked. Bathroom had all the usuals. We had booked dinner in the restaurant only to find that the menu was the same as the bar menu. The restaurant was really only an overflow for the bar. The menu was very disappointing. To be fair to the lady in charge she explained they were working on changing things in future and did comp us a couple of drinks which was nice. When I came to get the bill I wanted to add it to my room but couldn't as I had not registered my credit card. It never occurred to me at the time but this was the first time I was never asked for this when checking in. It also meant when I went to the bar I had to pay for drinks each time I oredred. Breakfast next morning was adequate though there seemed to be a shortage of staff as we were not asked for room number nor shown to a table, we just wandered in. On checking out it was again perfunctory and the receptionist didn't even ask how our stay was. Another first. I shall not return
