The location is convenient for accessing Edinburgh. Guests appreciated the delicious breakfast and friendly staff. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay.

Stayed 2 nights in room 3, facing the noisy busy road & garage. The hotel has a large bar & dining area & lovely outside seating area. On 1st impressions it looks lovely, but you quickly spot lots of things that need attention. Room looked lovely on 1st impressions, but again on closer inspection needed a lot of TLC. Struggled to turn on the shower & couldn't adjust the temperature. Huge crack in the bathroom sink & the sealant around the bath was about an inch away. There was also an odd smell. We usually stay at the nearby premier inn, but this was a good price & included breakfast. The breakfast was really nice, can't fault that at all. You order what you would like to eat & it is cooled fresh. Our stay was spoilt by the noisy & busy road & by the loud music that was on from just before 8am. Nobody asked on checkout how our room was & at breakfast we heard other guests talking about the loud music & noisy road.

Not the best. I booked this property for its convenient location, thinking it would allow me to leave for work later. However, things didn't go as planned. When I went down for breakfast, I was offered a coffee and received it a few minutes later, only to be informed that there was no one available to cook breakfast. The time spent having the coffee meant I couldn't go elsewhere before work. Additionally, I accidentally paid for my evening meal and stay with my personal card. When I asked the lady to refund me so I could use my work card, she said she couldn't do it and the manager would call me the next day. Unfortunately, that call never came, leaving me without breakfast and unable to get a refund.
