I went to this hotel with my father after graduating from school. This is already 9 years ago and I had some bad hotels in my life afterwards as well. However, looking back after such a long time, this is still by far the worst hotel experience I ever had. I am not surprised by all the other bad reviews. If you go there, it is really a "new world" you have never experienced before. Always when I stay in a bad hotel nowadays, I think: "Well, it's not nice here, but at least not as bad as in the World hotel. If you go there, you must be really adventurous. I just hope they changed something by now, e.g., the cleaning bucket.

I cannot. I had the hottest date ever and got drunk and forgot where I was staying and accidentally brought him back to this awful dump. There was “mierd” everywhere in the toilets and I was sitting on my “bed” and he said “i cannot stay here” Thanks for ruining my future potential husband. Biggest dump in NYC I cannnnnnnnot. Plz if you’re ever in New York and can’t get a reservation, please just stay on a park bench. I can’t. This experience haunts me to this day. It’s actually embarassing. Bye.

It felt like I was in prison and there was mold in the shower and the pillows had gross stains and hair everywhere even the towels were dirty and it looked like someone died on that bed and there was bed bugs and at night I heard people talking about me saying “there in that room” so that’s when I left and was creeped out I hated it
