I stayed here for one night when I arrived at JFK Airport (late night flight) and one night when I departed (early morning flight).
For the free shuttle bus service, if you are traveling from the airport to the hotel, get off at the Federal Circle Airtrain station and wait for the bus at the hotel bus stop. It is on the opposite side of the bus stop to the terminal, and there is no sign, so you have to be careful. The red bus comes every 30 minutes (every hour in the early morning and late night). If you are traveling from the hotel to the airport, they will drop you off at the terminal you want.
This hotel is a Hilton chain, but the facilities and services are on par with a cheap business hotel in Japan. However, the bathtub (very shallow) is a big plus for Japanese people.
There are no restaurants in the area, so be careful. Instead, there is coffee service in the lobby 24 hours a day, and a simple breakfast is provided free of charge. Some people had their midnight snacks delivered by Uber.
The price seems a bit high, but the surrounding hotels are more expensive, so I may stay here again if I have a late night or early morning flight from JFK Airport in the future.

Because we were in a hurry to catch the flight, we booked a hotel near the airport. The room facilities basically met our needs. There was a free shuttle bus for several round trips, which took less than 15 minutes. It was very convenient. The only problem was that the bus reservation to the airport was quite tight during the morning rush hour.
